Center for Biological Diversity

Wouldn't a wall simply add to that diversity?

“Center for Biological Diversity”

This same Leftist front group sued the Trump Administration for using the same type of waiver to build 20 miles of barrier West of El Paso.

The last of the towering steel bollard panels there are already curing in their massive concrete foundations. Construction crews are finishing up the patrol road, and have already started clean up, getting ready for acceptance inspection.

This time around, progress is not being held up, waiting for these nuisance lawsuits to wind through the courts.

There are 33 miles worth of segments around McAllen, Texas on track for contract award sometime after Christmas, but it seems that there are many other segments in the planning and contracting process, with no public notice, like these whose waivers were just announced (in the past, contract award has come quickly after the waivers were invoked). The four miles in downtown El Paso recently started work, having been revealed to the public just the day before.

Wall building is set to pick up speed in the next few months, with lots of segments being awarded. If we get the $5 billion in FY19 funds that they are talking about, we will really be off to the races.
