Freed American pastor Andrew Brunson met and prayed with President Trump in the Oval Office Saturday, thanking him for having "really fought for us" -- a day after his release from house arrest in Turkey.

I remember thinking during the Obama years that if I were taken hostage while traveling, I’d be out of look, especially if it were in a Muslim country.
Oh, the embassy might have gone through the motions, but I had the feeling that as a white hetero citizen, I was expendable, not making a fuss over.
Trump has, IMHO, stood up for Americans seized abroad.
The old days of the British empire mounting punitive expeditions over abuse of their citizens are long gone, but at least Trump is standing behind us to the extent possible today.

Just occurred to me that, if Obama had done this, we’d have been seeing constant live news reports from breathless reporterettes around the clock since yesterday, and headlines like A FOREIGN POLICY TRIUMPH! and OBAMA’S CROWNING GLORY! in all the liberal rags. There would also, of course, be an immediate drive to award The One his second Nobel Prize.

obama left Otto in North Korea to die. I seem to remember his family begged for help to no avail. Trump got him out very soon after he took office. Trump never would have let that American citizen lanquish in that Mexican jail either. Obama did nothing for him, I remember it well.
May our God, the Lord Jesus, bless the President who humbly receives prayer in His name.
If President Trump watches the Gosnell movie himself he will be deeply impacted.
If he talks the movie up at one of his campaign rallies the nation will be sensitized to the horrors of the Silent Holocaust....

Is it just me, or ever since Trump, we are now 7 days in DC, 7 days in the Oval Office, 7 days doing things, when normally before Trump, this was not happening.
They are swearing in Scotus justices on Saturday night. Who does that?

“Father, God I ask that you pour out your Holy Spirit on President Trump–that you give him supernatural wisdom to accomplish all the plans you have for this country. I ask that you give him wisdom to lead this country to righteousness. I ask that you give him perseverance and endurance and courage to stand to truth. I ask that you protect him from enemies…I ask that you make him a great blessing to this country and fill him with your wisdom and strength and perseverance and we bless him and may he be a blessing to our country, in Jesus name…Amen.”
