For Democrats, this return to normalcy is intolerable. They are doubling down on their war against the new Justice.
They have several related goals: Undermine Justice Kavanaugh’s authority on the Court, argue that his presence undermines the legitimacy of the Supreme Court itself, drive Justice Kavanaugh off the Court through impeachment if they win control of the House of Representatives, and, most fantastic of all, consider expanding the size of the Court if they regain control of the government.
At his political rallies, President Trump has taken to calling out “the radical Democrats.” Democrats are appalled at the President’s rhetoric. We can’t imagine why. If the party’s post-confirmation campaign against Justice Kavanaugh isn’t a radical departure from the norms of American politics, we can’t imagine what is.
Dianne Feinstein, speaking from her Senatorial platform on Twitter , wrote that Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation “undermines the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.” Possibly Twitter’s character limitations prevented Senator Feinstein from explaining exactly how the legitimacy of the Court was being undermined, but the idea has taken hold among Democrats.
Eric Holder, Barack Obama’s first Attorney General, took to Twitter to assert: “The legitimacy of the Supreme Court can justifiably be questioned.” Does this mean that Mr. Holder, once the nation’s highest legal officer, will next call for flouting Supreme Court decisions? The last time this happened was the South’s resistance to Brown v. Board of Education and school desegregation.
The pretext for these assertions and for the impeachment talk is that Mr. Kavanaugh “lied” to the Senate Judiciary Committee. The list of alleged lies justifying impeachment is extensive, including the controversies during the George W. Bush Presidency over enhanced interrogation and warrantless wiretaps.

What all of this documents about the Democrats is that they have zero respect for the will, representation, and votes of those they disagree with and/or who won’t vote to give them power. I heard that an official can only be impeached for things done after they are in office, not before. So... what has Kavanaugh, Trump or Pence done since, in office, that is a high crime or misdemeanor?

That the MSM could be owned, journalists bought, and levers of Government in (IRS 2011 and FBI-CIA-NSA in 2015-2018) illegally directed by a sitting president and his Political Party against his opponents in bought economic rulings and a presidential campaign shows an overreaching grab for total control of the USA.
Trump is America's Iron Man in analogy to Thacher of Britain. He has both won an election rigged against him by a complict MSM and Intelligence Services - and once in control of the presidency he was able to read the historical facts and activities of the Obama administration currently in place against his Election and his Presidency.
Trump has proven adept at power politics. He has both survived against a MSM acting as a lever if the DNC, and a continuing Intelligence Services coup playing out its drying shots in the SCOTUS case. Trump stood firm during this fray and both vanquished the CIA and gained the FBI in destroying the legimitacy of elected officials from the DNC (least not forget their illigimtacy in Hillary/Warren-Brazil nomination coup) and the unleashed Mobs.
This past weekend in Portland is or was a dry run to se if the Political Violence of the Left can gain traction in DNC controlled cities. Trump must counter this Mob-Ru and e Communist insurgency with an Executive Order directing State and Local Law Enforcement and Agencies of the Federal Government act to secures secure public safety of people and property activity without DNC officials interference with a public safety first priority. The ICE attempt to strip Portland City Mayor of this Violence Mob Rule Communist insurrection is going to be a National challenge to Trump in the days ahead.
Trump's legal system makeover in a Constitutionally divided manner and existing Rule of Law enforcement is the answer to the Democrats. This is both a law enforcement issue (to take a page from Workd Socialists stand on Iraqi and Afghanistan policy towards terrorism) and internal USA issue especially timed to Neutering the DSA and American Communist Party on grounds of outside Political interference (read FBI Russian investigative turned against the DNC).
I would target the legitimacy of all the federal courts. Why stop at the Supreme Court?
