They have enough money that they don’t care about their taxes. They don’t hunt or shoot guns, so they don’t care that Abrams wants to ban them. They don’t care about anything other than keeping their liberal, hipster neighborhoods as liberal, hipster, & WHITE as they can. And, as with most states in the US, the folks in the densely populated cities, make the rules for the rest of the state. Pick any state that leans to the Left and pretty much the entire state can be described as, RED, the cities described as, BLUE, and the BLUE folks make the rules.

Exactly the situation here in the People's Republic of New York and why the Electoral College is yet another example of the brilliance of the Framers in providing something so vital to the continued life of the country. More and more, we need one in each state as well.

I used to live in Atlanta and now live about 40 miles East. It will resonate with the people of Atlanta, Virginia Highlands, Morningside, Little 5, City of Decatur, Savannah, Augusta, and the 6th Congressional District in northeast Cobb, Cherokee and Fulton County. Throw in a sizeable, if not most of Clayton, Dekalb, Henry Counties as the demographics in those counties have changed dramatically. Toss in all the illegals in Gwinnett, which is shifting Dem, Norcross, Doraville and all the Muslims that have taken over Lilburn and it isn’t going to be easy.

For those of us that live in Georgia, we have to remember that Ossoff,a complete and utter moron that was a staffer for Hank Johnson, an even bigger moron, almost won the 6th District election. Handel didn’t win by much.

The folks out in the country, many of whom are on fixed incomes, still believe the BS that the Dem’s will give them everything they want and the Big Bad Republicans will take it away.

She has a very good chance. And if she does win, the Legislature is going to have its hands full b/c she’s gonna throw the ‘racism/sexism’ card down every time they challenge her.

If there was some type of state level, Electoral College, this country would be completely different. The Founders, in all their glorious genius, knew what was coming. Amazing men.

I’m curious to know what would the last election would have looked like, for the President, if the states WEREN’T, All or Nothing, with how they give their electoral votes.

If I’m not mistaken, Maine had a referendum vote on this. Not sure how it ended up. States like California wouldn’t be able to swing an election the way they do now, nor Ohio, Penn, Michigan, etc. That way the cities can’t dictate how the rest of the state is run. Places those city dwellers do not go. Just think about how the people of Colorado, Washington, Oregon, New York, California, and Illinois would benefit.

I’ll have to disagree with you on that. Ossoff almost pulled off the outright win, in the initial vote. He didn’t live in the district and no one knew who he was. He was a staffer for Hank Johnson. That right there says more than anything. A rich, white kid from the northern suburbs of Atlanta working for a black guy, that is quite possibly one of the dumbest members of Congress(and that is saying a lot), because his parents were big time activists in the Georgia Democratic party.

Handel won by 9702 votes. She should have walked away with it.

Again, while you may think a 3.8% margin isn’t small, that gap is shrinking on a daily basis. The Left is actively trying to flip that district. As long as they keep it affluent and WHITE, though.
