Heading back to the ship docked at the Subic pier from Olongapo with a belly full of San Miguel (Philippines, not Manilla) the barbequed monkey meat on sticks was out-fcking-standing. Only a P or two for two sticks with three or four hefty chunks per stick.
“ .of he and his wife....”
It passes spell check which is what counts in journalism today.
OH..that’s what’s wrong.
Cheers
You sure you were eating monkey?
Some said it was dog!
So, I never ate any “monkey” meat in the PI, that I know of!
LOL!
If hunting baboons pays the freight for African wildlife conservation, have at it. As far as the locals are concerned, it’s all “bush meat.” Having dollars to spend helps to keep them from eating chimpanzees.
Baboon.
Giraffe are culled in old age. Did you miss the story of the one that was shot after killing three younger bulls?
Was it the adult male giraffe who no longer mates and had killed 3 other younger male giraffes?
I had a neighbor...not a fag.....that was washing and waxing his truck, while a crew was paving the road in front of the houses. They were on a break, and BSing with us and each other. One of them asked if he was getting his truck ready for hunting season. He casually said “No, I don’t hunt. “ All conversation immediately stopped and they just looked at him. Funny as hell.
Long pig.
Yes westerners have lost sight of slaughterhouses
Hunting is actually less grim
You and I would eat anything if we had to
Not sure about long pig but probably if facing death
