It has nothing to do with friendship. Our strategic national interests are at stake. We benefit and have benefited by our relationship with the Saudis. More importantly, they are not our enemies.

There are no good guys among muslims. Just ones who are more or less on our side. MBS is more on our side than any other muslim Saudi has ever had.
Yet Pat wants us to ally with Iran. The dude has many loose screws.
Of course, we should maintain ally relations with the Saudi government. These incidents occur a,, the time in the dark & hidden shadows of international espionage activity. I am not supporting the Saudi Government, I am just saying we need to be practical in this nutcase world of ours.
