Just a few weeks ago, analysts thought that control of the U.S. Senate was in play this November and that momentum was shifting to the Democrats. Thanks to their brutal campaign of character assassination against now-Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh, those chances appear to be slipping away.

That must mean that their internal polling is showing an absolute implosion.
Exactly my thought.
It’s not what they did that’s the reason to vote them out.
It’s what they promise to do if they get the power.
Marc Thiessen is right of center and often on Fox. So it’s not surprising other than Dr. Evils Bezos Post gave him a plateform.
Agreed. I think a whole lot of voters who don’t particularly like the GOP or Trump began quaking in their boots at the thought of THESE people getting back into power.
Voters need to punish Dems for their treatment of Kavanaugh....and for their treatment of Trump, gun owners, taxpayers, etc..
Bingo. They flashed their ass on that one.
They went after a squeaky clean boy scouts like he was on trial for murder. And enough of us remember what would happen to people subjected to the old Soviet show trials.
It was a CPUSA show trial.
ALL DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL, VILE, VICIOUS, LYING DESTROYERS OF GOOD PEOPLE!!! SHUN THEM!!
This is what the RATS do when they need to pad the upcoming results with “excuses” why they are going to lose.
Sadly, most voters probably still don’t know who Brett Kavanaugh is or what happened. We live in a very low information society.
The WaPo? How on earth did this bit of realism and common sense slip through the socialist filter? I am stunned.
Kavanaugh was just the last straw.
Marc Thiessen is ok. He sometimes sits on the All-Star panel (which should really be called The Loser Panel) and waxes intelligently.
Both. In spades.
I hope this is right.
“Sadly, most voters probably still dont know who Brett Kavanaugh is or what happened. We live in a very low information society.”
Specially if they don’t speak English or they’re dead.
“Its not what they did thats the reason to vote them out.
Its what they promise to do if they get the power.”
It’s not either/or - both are good reasons!
