Correct. I was hit from behind (back in my youth) and then had my face stomped {rendering me out for 3 days, and had a fractured eye socket {broke 60% of the bones in the socket} took 57 stitches in the face, never did find the perp.

Being unconscious for three days allowed me to miss a lot of the real pain, but I really wanted revenge on the perp{s}.

I thought I knew who did it but had no real proof, just one more unsolved crime, and they only got a couple of hundred bucks {which was real money in to 60s}.
