VATICAN CITY -- The Vatican ambassador who accused Pope Francis of rehabilitating a disgraced ex-American cardinal is doubling down on his claims, asserting that the "scourge of homosexuality" in the priesthood is responsible for sex abuse and that the Vatican is being hypocritical in refusing to acknowledge it. Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano issued a third instalment Friday in the war of words over the cover-up of ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick.

Looks to me like this is probably true and Francis is doing his best to discredit and smear Vignano, all of which makes it likely that the Purple Mafia goes all the way to the top of the Church and is joyously continuing with its buggery. That probably being true, the U. S. Attorney's current investigation of the PA Church is likely to net a lot of big fish going far beyond PA.

FTA: While the McCarrick scandal has exposed how seminarians can be vulnerable to sexual abuses by their gay superiors, studies have shown that homosexuals in general are no more likely to abuse than heterosexuals.

This is garbage and CBS News knows it. There have been reputable studies done that show that adult homosexual men engage in sexual relations with youth at a rate more than 10 times that of adult heterosexual men.
