To what race(s) does this apply? The Dem advantage still sounds hard to beat...

My wife and I both fall into the “unaffiliated” category too....

No big state-wide races.

Trump won NC by 3.8% in 2016, so this is a good sign.

Trump won NC despite the Rat vote advantage.

NC isn’t as Blue as VA and it went Democrat only once... in 2008.

Thanks. I’d probably better understand the significance if I knew who was running where in NC.

Obviously, all the House is up for election. Not looking for help in any of the other races. I know how to find out.

To those that are saying that this is a good sign . . .

So far the early voting numbers from most everywhere are not just good . . . I think they're almost unbelievably good. Fingers crossed, and of course vote early and often. But (whispering now), Ravi, wouldn't you agree?

That’s helpful. Thanks.

I follow politics almost as closely as I follow baseball. Aside from the Tigers, I don’t much care who wins, unless it’s the Bosox or the Cubs. Or JV when he pitches for Houston. Or Max Scherzer when he pitches for the Nationals. If blue eye fails to win a Cy Young it will be a brown-eyed shame.

Only 2 House races in NC are really contested.

Can’t remember the districts.

Budd in one McCready (I think the D) in the other.

I do agree all the numbers are good; but remember, the RATs keep saying this election is about Trump - I agree, and remember 2016 !!!

We voted yesterday and the polls were packed. By all accounts they have been that way since Wednesday. A lot of people seem anxious to vote.

One of the issues on the ballot is the requirement for a photo Voter ID. I suspect that will get a lot of support except in the Democrat areas.

At least in our county they have gotten rid of those horrid electronic voting machines which are so easy to rig. We are doing paper ballots again with an OCR reader at the end where you insert your ballot when you leave. That is a big step in the right direction. It also makes the voting go a lot faster.

Now we NEED the Voter ID...

IMHO some Republicans were not sure of Trump in 2016. Now that they have seen him in action I think more are warming up to him. Even some never-Trumpers. Of course the Bill Krystal types never will.

They conned you. Those are shredders not OCR's. The PTB already have their desired results tabulated and ready to send in.

Budd is the R incumbent in the 13th district. I don’t see an incumbent named McCready but there’s another R incumbent named McHenry:
