Trump just announced he is cutting aid to those three countries that did not stop this, he is following through with his threat....Mexico now has an interesting choice to make. They can call up the military and stop this or lose any aid money the get from the US. This could get very interesting as Mexico actually has a military of sorts.

Hopefully it'll turn out that way, but this caravan was financed with the exact opposite intention -- to recreate Trump's lowest approval rating from a couple months ago when big media harped incessantly about the separation of children from their families at the border. And to recreate that sentiment right before the midterms.
Hopefully it'll backlash this time and the invading caravan will be stopped at the border and the GOP will keep control of Congress.

They must put up barriers. We can track the caravan. Hopefully they stay in a big group.
Those walls could just stay there until a permanent wall is built. Invaders will keep going to different regions and we can just build the “temporary” blockade as they shift around.
A situation like this has a process of escalation so that all of your bases are covered.
Morons on our side think that we should be sending in air strikes, invading countries, jailing politicians, and otherwise annexed parts of Mexico and turned them into no-man lands, with so far none of that horde anywhere near the border.
