Yes, there is obvious mischief at play. I know from reading about past events that there are lots of people, both for and against Trump that sign up and then do not show up. The sheer volume of over 100,000 signing up is news and attention-getting. If I were in Houston, I’d be going.

They don’t need a permit. I’m sure Houston’s mayor supports them.
Lots and lots of people have been camping out since yesterday so they can be part of the 18,000 that gets into that venue!

My son got in line at 06:30 and he’ll definitely be getting in to the venue. He’s wearing a Kavanaugh T-shirt that says “I like Beer!”, and a “Keep America Great” hat.
About an hour ago, there was a plane flying a banner over the crowd that said: NO BETO: Because Socialism Sux!
News Choppers have been hovering over downtown all morning.
I wish I could join him but I’m unlucky with a major project cutover happening today.
My son says he’s hearing that the doors will open at 2:30 instead of the previously planned 3:30. Local news channels are reporting that NRG Stadium’s parking lot is being open, with the train bringing people to the Toyota Center.
