Wait–How Many Loser College Students At Arizona State Were Traumatized By Trump's 2016 Win?

This is just ridiculous. It’s an election. It’s not war. It’s not anything traumatic in the slightest. You go in, you vote, you leave, and watch results. There’s a winner and a loser—and life goes on. For an ungodly amount of Millennials at Arizona State University, Donald Trump’s upset win over Hillary Clinton proved to be traumatizing. In fact, 25 percent of those polled said that Hillary losing was a traumatic episode for them.

There are times where my generation is unfairly lambasted for X, Y, and Z, but this game isn’t new. I don’t really care to be quite frank, though I will say, one this front, Millennials deserve to be torched for saying they’re exhibiting signs of PTSD because they lost an election. Just grow up, kids. Seriously, it’s an election. Everyone has moved on, except for the Acela Corridor. I’m still floored by the 25 percent. I knew a lot of young liberals were triggered by Trump’s win, but not this many. Then again, it’s opportunity to bash soft liberals who can’t deal with a Trump presidency (via Daily Mail):

LOL! Kids today huh? If NOT everybody got a trophy, possibly some would have learned to deal with NOT getting their way EVERY TIME they stomp their wittle footsies. And, it ain't just ASU where the Post Trump Stress Disorder reigns either. I was unaware that the 'PTSD'had been updated. Now I know.

When you saw the reaction at the Jacob Javitts Center during the night of Election Day 2016, they were all stunned and many were crying. And still haven’t gotten over it even now.

C’mon, kids. It’s the political pendulum of democracy. Get used to it or spend your entire life traumatized.

If the incarcerated are not allowed to vote....

Why are the mentally ill allowed to vote?

Imagine the media reaction if Hillary had won and about 25% of Trump supporters claimed to be "traumatized". The media would have a field day. "Suck it up, Buttercup".

But, of course, it's different when their candidate is a loser. That really gives them the sads.

I really would like to see these surveys also gather information on what the academic (if we can call it that) majors of these “students” are.

Needless to say, we would suspect that the vast majority of those “subjects” wouldn’t even be considered college level fifty years or more ago.

From the Greatest Generation to the Most Fragile Generation in 75 years. The current generation of young adults have never had the least bit of difficulty to overcome and are totally unequipped to deal with life.

Let’s hope they’re too deep in their keggers to notice they should vote.

The cause is an education system which set them up to be both emotionally unstable and historically unknowledgeable.

Then the left’s reaction to Trump’s win set off a lot of feelings that they were unable to deal with either emotionally or logically. A little bit of knowledge could have let them move on, but they’ve been trained to reject knowledge that disagrees with feelings.

Millennials are overwhelmingly Rat and liberal but they usually don’t bother to vote.

The yute vote will be no different this year.

Selection bias! The study was done on PSYCHOLOGY students, a group much more likely to be of the snowflake persuasion. Administer the same questionnaire to STEM majors, and the results would be far different...but that would not be the desired result.

I always found with my own kids - or anyone else’s, that the more sympathy you give when a child falls or gets a scratch or “boo-boo”, the more it seems to hurt the kid. Don’t make a big deal out of minor things or even more serious hurts, and the child won’t either. Feed the emotion, and the child becomes a drama queen.

This is exactly what colleges and universities do these days: they hype emotional responses to perceived hurts and boo-boos, real and imagined. The students are reinforced for being drama queens. This does not bode well for these students’ futures, nor our nation’s.

Yeah. They probably missed the memo instructing them that dems vote on the 2nd Tuesday and Repubs vote on the 1st Tuesday to prevent overcrowding.

I am an ASU Sun Devil, graduated with a master’s in EE.

I saw the article headline on FR, didn’t read further until today, did not know the traumatized snowflakes were from ASU.

What can I say, these “PTSD” snowflakes have brought shame upon ASU. Totally disgusting, what a bunch of stupid vapid crybabies!

In a different article they said it was a survey of Psychology students.
To be fair, most people in that field seem to be in it for a reason.

There has always been kids like this but the numbers have gone up over the years. The parents baby and spoil the kids before sending them to school for liberal indoctrination. The increase in kids going to college created an increase in the number of liberal weasels. The one good thing is the opposition is made up of a bunch of weaklings.
