Yes, praise be to God that the pilot is alive and well. What a miracle!

My dad had one of those same T6 planes painted with World War II-era German air force markings before he passed away. I wonder if that was the same squadron he was part of as well. I remember them as the California Condors.

At his passing I made a montage of his photos and a section was on his planes and his time with the Condors. The squadron at his memorial service liked it so much they asked me for a copy. I wonder if it is that same group. If that is the same squadron, those folks are wonderful folks.

My brother would know since my dad always took him flying with him so he was more familiar with the planes and the group. I would have gone all the time too, but my mom would not allow it. I do remember having wonderful kid fun just playing around the airport where my dad kept his plane before it was painted like this.
