I think I’ll wait a while before I trust going over/under that thing.

The ferries are just fine.

I’d rather go by ferry from Hong Kong.

Congratulations China. That’s a very big deal. Maybe that will inspire the USA to do more on our own infrastructure.

One of my big amazements in China was when we went on top of one of the super tall buildings in Shanghai and looked down on the river that passes through the city. There was a nonstop parade of boats, barges and ships going in both directions, for as far as you could see. It was pretty impressive.

As in, how long can it stand up to ultraviolet light from the sun?

My niece went to China with a friend a few years back. They’re both fairly tall and blond. She said they were treated like rock stars wherever they went. Everyone wanted their picture taken with them.

That will be a scenic drive - for those who can afford the $21 one-way toll. Stateside bridge fans will have to make do with the 60-year-old 24-mile long Lake Pontchartrain Causeway in Louisiana, which costs only the gas consumed in crossing it. I rather enjoyed that drive, the half-dozen times I’ve done it.

Yes. The bridge ends in Zhuhai, right in front of my house. No kidding. So, yesterday I had a meeting with some clients out in Guangzhou and there's this big commotion at my front gate. Police men, media folk, and all kinds of people with cameras and movie apparatus. They were out there taking picture and enjoying the morning air.

Yeah. It's a pretty big thing. Xi Peng came too.

The customs office is really tiny. It is the size of a little garage. But, it's all good. After the trip, I returned home. I didn't even bother to take any pictures. Just took my dog out for a walk to "do his thing" and then back in the house to chill.

My clients were looking at how their ECM's for the car computers in the new lamborghini's were coming along. So we went to the factory, and visited another one making some high end bathroom glass. All is good.

This bridge is cool, but I hope that it doesn't get too busy. I hate too much noise. That is why I moved to where I live in the first place. LOL.

They build...we bicker. At least in China they know how to handle their self-haters.
