Hogg decided to postpone his first year of college to work on November's midterm elections. He has said he has his eyes on running for political office in the future, and has expressed support for progressive causes and candidates such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, calling the New York congressional candidate a "future president of the United States."

Poor David Hogg! The news cycle has moved on to some other product that's currently selling better. Mr. Hogg is no longer relevant. Well, maybe David can look forward to some face time on a slow day in the news cycle after the elections and the "caravan" business is over. He is neither a moron, idiot, or fool. Nor is he nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is.

He is reasonably intelligent, but poorly educated and poorly raised young man without a basic grasp of history or inherent human liberties. His parents and school failed to properly educate him nor did they give him the occasional boot in the a— to remind him that no, the world does not revolve around him.
