Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and other company executives have donated thousands to the 2020 reelection campaign for Colorado Republican Cory Gardner. But why? ....

... According to CNBC, Gardner has played a prominent role in some of the legislation Amazon’s lobbying division has supported. The DIGIT Act, for instance, which centers on a national strategy for Internet of Things, is cosponsored by Gardner. It’s also a bill that Amazon has strongly supported.

Amazon has also expanded its footprint in Colorado of late, with a new fulfillment center it opened in the state last year.

Corey Gardner will be re-elected. That’s why Democrat Bezos gave him a cash donation.

We’re lucky to have him here in Colorado, considering the pitiful shape of the COGOP.

Maybe he donated because Amazon will be selecting Denver for HQ2.

You heard it here first!

Because cory gardner is a POS. He is the reason I became an independent back in December 2015. That after having been a republican for over 37 years. While he was in the house, he ran for the senate on a platform of fiscal responsibility, anti illegal immigration and repealing obumbercare. Then after the elections, before he left the house for the senate. He voted for open boarders boener, the worst omnibus spending bell ever up to that point and to fund obumbercare for the next two years.

I’ve said a few times on this site that Bezos was a secret conservative. I’m still saying it. :) I have my sources.

Speaking for my wife and myself, we will never vote for that POS again, PERIOD. If he gets past the primary, that will be the first time in my life I will not vote. Of course I'll vote in all the other races. But never again for cory gardner. He directly betrayed my and mine.

I hear you, but I guess I would prefer Senator Gardner to Senator Hickenlooper.
