LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are on the scene of a reported shooting at a Kroger in Jeffersontown.
Jeffersontown Police confirm the shooting report came in just before 3 p.m. for the store at 9080 Taylorsville Road near the intersection of Hurstbourne Parkway.

An employee told Courier sister publication Louisville Business First that she saw a woman shot in the parking lot, first in the torso, then in the head. Gunshots also were heard inside the store.
The Louisville Courier Journal reported that MetroSafe confirmed reports of the shooting just before 3 p.m. WLKY-TV (CBS) in Louisville reported at least one person has died. WHAS-TV (ABC) in Louisville reported that two people have been shot and injured, and that the Jeffersontown mayor said a suspect is in custody and the situation is under control.

Additionally, I know I may be “reading in” too much, but it appears both victims were nice, decent people. Here I am, a getting a little bit crusty ol’ white guy, and I weep for them and pray for their families.
As for the murderer, if he gets the electric chair, well, I may be a “softie” sometimes, but this is one switch I could throw. Too bad the CCW guy who confronted him did not put one right through that evil, demented brain.
