The maximum tax for SS in 2018 is 7,980.00 since income taxable for SS is capped at 128,400, plus 1.45% for Medicare. Plus state SS taxes, which in my case are capped at 1,150. How would they have paid 500,000?
It's OUR money - we should be able to spend it on the deserving citizens... or whoever we want to spend it on - NOT BE FORCED BY LIBERALS TO SUPPORT MEMBERS OF THEIR 'VICTIM GROUPS'...
ALL illegals should be DEPORTED. This is NOT their country - they are NOT our responsibility.
It'll take an Amendment to the Constitution to get them out and keep them out. That should be our next move.
Amend the Constitution - Get illegals OUT of our country.
We don’t need an amendment, just enforce our existing laws.
Medicare and social security are earned/purchased by us as part of a contract with our government. They are not welfare. Medicaid is welfare, medical care for the indigent and unlucky.

MEDICARE PART B IS A PREMIUM THAT COMES OUT OF SS CHECKS MONTHLY.
That 2% COLA raise we got this year was a total of $12.00 a year $1.00 a month. $1,569 went to Medicare Part B Premium.
The 2.8% COLA raise we might get is on average $38 a year. Rest is MEDICARE B PREMIUMS.
Part D is a Secondary health ins.
In our case TRICARE LIFE CO-PAYS went UP OVER WIPING OUT the $12.00 a year. It will be the same with this New 2.8% COLA Raise. WE CAME OUT IN THE HOLE. And we still pay Federal Income taxes! We are 70/78. Hubby is a 20 yr Career Navy Ret. SCPO. Taught as a Electronics Prof for Jr College another 20 yrs. Both under paid jobs.

My late Pastor worked a 2nd day job for 40 yrs, while he was preaching. First he did a 4 yr stint in the Army prior to Nam.

His wife worked for the State for 40 yrs besides her Pastoral duties as a Pastor’s wife, played the Piano for the Congregation, both those were unpaid positions, She worked for GOD.
That $255 is for 1 person, the second gets 0. That is why you pay for Life Insurance. Or if older Pre-paid funerals, plots, opening/closing. The only thing not calculated in is the ‘Beauty Parlor’ services, paying the Preacher and escort to Cemetery. Today many are attached to the Funeral Home. Ours are. Hubby will have a Navy Funeral. Even the headstones are paid for, just need date added.

Getting an amendment thru the approval process is a non-starter.
I wonder if they include those payments as "taxes" or not.
Employer Matching SS / Medicare, AKA Total Employee Compensation. It’s all part of the Ponzi scheme making ignorant People think they only pay a smaller amount.
Heck, they don’t even realize that they are Taxed on the Deduction from their Paychecks since it comes out of their Gross. Then they are Taxed again when they receive their SS.
People think that the Employer Match is some sort of Gift, It isn’t, it is part of the Total Compensation Package. In other words it’s considered part of your Salary, just like Employer Paid Healthcare.
When these Morons go on and on about $15 a Hour Burger Flipper Jobs, the cost to the Employer is not $15.00, it’s more like $18.00 an Hour.
Both my buddies made really good money for over 30 Years. A rough estimate, if they paid in only $10,000 (their portion and their Employer’s portion) a Year times 30 = $300,000.

The big drain on SS are the so-called "crazy checks" aka disability.
And LOTS of illegal aliens are on disability and have their children on disability and then do not pay a penny into the system and never will.
It is the sucking sound that dare not drool it's name. But hey, let's cut payments to seniors who paid into the system rather then go after the frauds and cheats on "disability".
How do lots of illegals qualify for SS disability payments? They would have to use stolen SS numbers since they can’t obtain them on their own. And you do know that SS disability funds come from their own separate trust fund.
We have to start somewhere...
