What the article fails to highlight is even at best she has a miniscule amount of “possible” Indian blood and at least far less than the average white American!
I am White as they come and I’m only 4th generation removed from an Indian ancestor. She at the very most is 6th generation possibly 10th!
Toast.
Without doubt, somewhere along the line in the fraudulent misrepresentation of herself, she’d have encountered that pesky ‘under penalty of perjury’ phrase with its accompanying warning re ‘subject to a term of imprisonment of ____ and a fine not to exceed $____’.
But stuff like that is, apparently, only applicable to us peasants, ehh ?
Media clearing the field for KH.
The test didn’t change my mind about her, but probably not for the reason the media want to believe.
Our family has Indian ancestry that has been traced back to some of the leaders on The Trail of Tears. My younger brother is the spitting image of Geronimo and a younger sister looks the part also with dark complexion and jet black hair. I have never had a thought of trying to game the system and try and gain some advantage from it.
Tomahawk Liz! Now thats funny!
As in president of the United States? Hahahahaha!
Music to my ears, her toastiness, however she is still a sitting senator in liberal Mass who will likely be voted back in. I hope not!
I think her video where she rolled out her great accomplishment also has a story of how her grandfather’s family didn’t want him marrying his grandmother because “she’s part Cherokee and part Delaware”. Cherokees do have their own tribal government, which rejects DNA. But Delawares were annihilated shortly after the Revolutionary War, so they have no government to speak of, and that’s her fallback. She might not be a Cherokee, but she has an infinitesimally small amount of Delaware genes, which together with her unrecognized and also infinitesimally small amount of Cherokee genes, makes her slightly Amerindian in combination. Amusing that a full-grown Senator with years in politics actually is making an issue of this. She’s lost it, if she ever had it.
Why doesn’t the Administration of Harvard have to bear some of the blame on this ?
It’s not like the staff of one of the highest rated academic institutions couldn’t tell she wasn’t any kind of ‘indian’.
Warren was a crappy politician before all of this with ZERO appeal. Now she is crappier.
If you are 1/32 Indian you may be able to qualify as a member of some tribes - and that doesn't always show in your appearance.
You could argue that Harvard was unethical in playing up Warren's claim to be native American, but I doubt they violated the law in taking her at her word.
At first I thought this was from NBC...wait, what???
Wow, I’m forced to agree with some NBC reporter?
How long have I been asleep?
no Indian just 99.9% Bull.
