This is Sinatra backed by Nelson Riddle, the man who reinvented Frank’s career in the 1950s. This 1960 version is laid back at first, but it’s definitely a Big Band approach. Riddle had the gift of coming up with the perfect arrangement for his singers. By the time Frank comes in after the interlude, he really swings. The ending is perfect.
