The Democrats typically lead Republicans in early voting during midterm and presidential election cycles. In 2016 the Democratic lead in early voting was such that it inspired major news outlets, AP for example, to run articles with titles like “Early voting: More good signs for Clinton in key states.” Among the states in which early voting portended a victory for Hillary, according to AP, were Florida and North Carolina. The story went on to quote her spokesperson as follows: “The Clinton campaign describes both North Carolina and Florida as ‘checkmate’ states.” Trump won both of course.
Oddly, most of the major media have been reluctant to report early voting trends in the current cycle. AP has reported on it only when there are vague complaints about alleged voting machine problems.

... On Monday NBC reported, “The data suggests enthusiasm among early GOP voters that could put a dent in Democratic hopes for a ‘blue wave’ in the midterms.” Early GOP voters were leading Democrats by large margins in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Tennessee, and Texas.

The current nationwide total of early or absentee ballots counted exceeds the 2016 total from two weeks before Election Day.… Republican-affiliated voters make up 44 percent of the early voting electorate and Democratic-affiliated voters make up 40 percent of the early voting electorate.
So, there are two unusual phenomena associated with this year’s early voting — the overall participation has been far higher than is usually the case in a midterm election, and Republican ballots are materializing in significantly higher numbers.

I don’t want them to give this away. I want them even more shocked then 2016.

I cannot wait to feel that same feeling that I had on the night of President Trump’s victory. I said this before but the left has tried so hard to remove President Trump from office that this feels like voting him in for real this time and that’s going to motivate a lot of Deplorables even more than 2016. Add that motivation to the fact that we know Trump is for real and we have a Red Tsunami.

I believe we will flip Senate seats in FL, WV, MO, ND, MT, and maybe even MI and MN.
Any news that validates Trump can’t be shared. Also, easier to avoid fraudulent votes being contrary to what the polls and other reports suggest. Rigged voting requires burying the real data.
I think the double whammy for the Dems is not just the large turnout on the GOP side, but they have to wonder how many of their voters are crossing over to vote for the Republicans. I think they’re scared to death not knowing how big the Walkaway movement really is.
I am seeing signs of a Red Tsunami in most states Trump won - the exception being NC - that looks like a Blue wave - must be all the Yankees that have retired there.

At this point in the 2016 election, early Democratic ballots led early GOP ballots by 45 percent to 38 percent. This cycle, the Republican percentage has increased by 7 while the Democratic percentage has dropped by 5.

but the bad news is that this will panic Mueller and he will undoubtedly drop the dirtiest of tricks next Friday.
my guess is that that is why Trump is dangling but not explaining the tax cut. he will announce it next Friday night after the Mueller leak drop.
By next Friday, more than half the votes for this election will have been cast

“Even though there is no Senate race on the ballot, both Republicans and Democrats seem eager to cast a vote in a mid-term election that President Trump has said is a “referendum about me.”
During the presidential election two years ago, 410,000 North Carolinians had voted after four days of early voting — with 13 days of early voting remaining.
This year, nearly 431,000 people have voted after five days of early voting and with 13 days of early voting remaining.
Nationwide and in North Carolina, Democrats expect a “blue wave” as voters are motivated to vote against President Trump.
But so far, Republicans also seem enthusiastic about the election in North Carolina.
The number of registered Republicans who have cast early votes is up by 44 percent compared with the 2014 midterm election, according to Democracy NC.
“The number of Republicans that have been casting ballots, they have to be very happy,” Bitzer said. “There was a lot of concern about depressed enthusiasm, but this shows they are as energized as anyone thought they would be.”
Democrats have seen their numbers increase as well, but not by as much. There’s been an increase of 26 percent in registered Democrats voting early compared to the same period in 2014, according to Democracy NC analysis.
Nearly twice as many unaffiliated voters have cast early votes so far, compared to 2014.
Bitzer said one potentially troubling sign for Democrats is that black voters haven’t seen their participation numbers increase at the same rate as white voters. Black early voting is up just 9 percent from 2014, compared to a 52 percent increase in white voters.”
Looks like the pattern in NC is the same as all the other Red States.
I’m a former Democrat who “walked away” ten years ago. I was a hardcore liberal when I first started voting in the eighties, but over time I realized the party was going way too left for me, and my views were changing on the role of government in our lives. Just two to three years ago I was still advocating pro choice and pro amnesty positions, but now I no longer support abortion and I now believe we need a complete moratorium on all immigration into the United States. I see the damage abortion and illegal immigration has done to our nation and both must be stopped! Some Democrat I turned out to be, huh?
The “double whammy “ is that blacks and Hispanics are not showing up in high numbers. Even in Florida and Georgia, with black gubernatorial candidates on the ballot, blacks are voting less than their registration rates.
Interesting what an honest election will do. Minus the fake ballots and all, the Dems are not quite as popular as they seemed to be in the past.
