The Mighty Mo (momentum) is fickle. The 2018 midterm election cycle has been driven by emotion, be it NeverTrump or Kavanaugh. Issues like the economy, healthcare, immigration and deep state have not been on the front burner. The bomber issue fits the emotion meme perfectly, though it should not.
Some nut sends a bunch of bombs (if they had powder in them, they are bombs—even though they were not made well—are worthy of discussion.
I think the discussion should be about the tone of discussions. But I would also like someone, anyone, to point out that the GOP is FINALLY. Responding with some guts. They are not laying down in the fight.
THAT is the point a lot of conservatives and liberals are missing. We are fighting back and it is upsetting the decades old narrative. The old Eastern Establishment milquetoast response is gone. And America likes it.

They’re hoping for a few moments of weak mindedness from slow or uninformed voters to try to steal some seats. And they are “allowing,” or “directing,” Cesar Sayoc to be the villain, or fall guy, depending on how you look at it or what you know. And it will look like an accident when he is murdered, uh, sorry, dies. Can’t have loose ends out there, can we?
