If President Trump is going to try and end birthright citizenship via executive order I hope he takes a sobering few minutes to share a detailed and clear civics lesson, point by point, why this is correct interpretation of the 14th amendment, why he has the authority, and why now. I agree with the long overdue action, but fear a debacle if put out there without explanation, leaving interpretation to the media. And I say try, because if not clear in action, he’ll have this stopped by the court before the ink has dried. Too bad we cannot revoke any received in the past but I suspect that would be a non-starter.
