President Trump Considering Immigration Executive Order Removing Birthright Citizenship..

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

According to a widely repeated Axios interview with President Trump the administration is considering an executive order to eliminate the “Anchor Baby” interpretation within the 14th Amendment focused on “Birthright Citizenship.”

If the initial review of the intent is accurate, President Trump would sign an executive order that would remove the right to citizenship for babies of non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants born on U.S. soil.

Until the 1960s, the 14th Amendment was never applied to undocumented immigrants, illegal aliens, or temporary (Visa) immigrants/visitors. The legal issues of birthright citizenship surrounding children born to non-legal parents inside the U.S. has never been decided by the Supreme Court.

Did the nature of the U.S. change in the 1960's? Yes. Was it because of Constitutional changes? No.

Will a new Presidential Executive Order reverse some of it? Possibly.

All civilized countries allow people born of illegals to be citizens. Yeah, right.

Most don’t allow illegals at ALL so this is probably not even an issue!

I am curious to see his E.O. wording, his introduction of it. I’m bothered that he’d breach this topic without having it all organized and ready. A big, unnecessary distraction just days before the election—and immediately fractures the Republican party with Ryan and Grassley, plus likely others saying No. I’m sorry, while I’d like to see birthright citizenship end, I think this is a stupid move right now with no upside right now.

DACA “could not be imposed by EO” either yet here we are saddled with it due to Activist Judges.

No surprise the Chamber of Commerce Stooges in the GOPE from Ryan to Erick Erickson are in hysterics about this today.

Even if Trump loses this fight, this is a political discussion we need to have as a country.

The Never Trumpers are a spent force. That they are in hysterics over this is meaningless noise. This is an issue of importance to the bulk of the US People. It crosses party lines. It is absolutely a smart political move to force the Dems to side against voters views on this issue.

Dem House Candidates are busy lying about being Republican lite just like they did in 2006. Anything that forces them to go on the record against voters views, like this will, is good.

Yes, maybe good to get them on the record, but why apparently blindside Ryan and Graham, now having them undermine him? Maybe a meeting with a few key leaders and supporters in Congress could have avoided this debacle.

Watching the Axios video reveals that Trump was ambushed by the question about the EO. It appears that his EO plan was leaked to Axios before Trump had planned to make it public.

In any case, when the presstitutes badgered other GOP politicos to comment about this, the correct response should have been “no comment” or “I will wait to see what President Trump actually proposes before commenting”...

THINK ABOUT IT, PEOPLE. If “birthright” citizenship is unconstitutional, then it has been unconstitutional ALL ALONG. That means there are millions of people on the voting rolls now who are NOT LEGAL CITIZENS!

Now that our President has made that determination, we MUST postpone the election until we can TRUE THE VOTE by purging the people who have been ILLEGALLY claiming citizenship. Unless we do that, any result will be illegitimate!

There’s no time for a discussion. America and the rule of law are hanging by a thread.

If Trump loses either the immigration fight or the fight against the swamp—We’re done. It’s as simply as that.

Ryan, as are many other Republican politicians, is bought and paid by the Chamber of Commerce and other donors who want a cheap labor supply.

These are the people who fund 75% of a Republican candidates campaign expenses and for that money they demand the politicians follow their rules and the voting public be damned.
