To understand how American voters are being driven apart, look no further than two powerful demographic forces: gender and education.
Once, the political outlooks of white men without a college degree and white women with one were similar. In recent years, the groups, which represent about 40% of voters, have moved sharply apart. Analysis of the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News survey shows the division to be at its widest since the poll began measuring it in 1994.
The gap is something new in American politics, and it has fundamentally changed how campaigns are waged. Once, white voters as a whole were “persuadable’’—they might have leaned toward one party or the other, but no big bloc within the group was out of reach. Today, as the chart below shows, a campaign for Congress in many places starts with 60% of college-educated white women favoring the Democratic nominee. An even larger share of white men without degrees favor the Republican—making both essentially unreachable by the opposing candidate.
Among the women, the share who want Democrats to lead the next Congress is 33 percentage points larger than the share favoring GOP control. The men, by contrast, favor Republicans by a net 42 points.
Facing a polarized electorate, many candidates aren’t spending time trying to win over the resistant group. This often happens in midterm elections but is happening now to an extreme. The divergence helps explain the issues at the top of each party’s agenda, and why some districts that were held securely by one party have competitive races this year.

The GOP was “mean” while the hansom young Democrat was saying all the right things and running on their military/law enforcement background. They were “different” then those nasty DC Democrats.
Women, apparently, don't mind being lied to. They keep voting for these political liars that promise them everything and give them nothing.
Past time for Women to stop feeling their politics and start thinking them
Women want someone to take care of them.
Unfortunately, feminism has convinced women that dependence on a man is politically incorrect.
But women still want someone to take care of them.
So a lot of them vote Democrat,
Time to stop the federal government subsidizing these hate filled stupid studies degrees.
This is really due to psychology and the need to be wanted. Females in college are easily swayed by their professors ideology and buy into the group think that pervades on campus. I really believe that if they conducted this poll at universities where STEM is the given curriculum, there will be a gap. It comes down to the logical vs emotional and this is where the psychology comes in.
Men think more logically than women. Notice how they do not take men in college and include them in the survey as well as women who didn’t go to college. That’s a poll I want to see.

It’s very simple - Frankfurt School and Fabian Society. College is marxist indoctrination. Since most men who get college degrees are in the fields of engineering, information technology and business, they get less of the marxist propaganda.
Once, a college degree meant more than a glorified high school diploma.
Democrats HATE white men.

That distinction gets lost forever once these guys get girlfriends and wives who barter sex in the bedroom for votes in the voting booth. It happens more than you’d expect.
Gender and education are symptoms, to be sure. But the divide;s cause runs deeper than that. Roughly, it can be called “ideology”, which is a spinoff from marxism. Without marxism, there would be no need for the term “ideology”. Standing athwart marxism are the US Constitution, the Bible and common sense.
Marxism, being utopian at its very core, appeals to women (some, not all) because it sounds so fair; it purports to provide the necessities (it doesn’t really), just in case; very reassuring. It is based on the fatally flawed premises that people are born good (they aren’t) and love to work (they don’t). These are demonstrably false. That is why the marxist side, when confronted with the truth, resort to all propaganda, all the time.
THAT is the divide. Donald Trump has brought it to a head, especially since he followed a very successful marxist into office. He has torpedoed their plans and they cannot abide that. They consider him a “counterrevolutionary”.

I think that is how Prohibition was passed, before women had the vote. The big thing is, that no one is in the voting booth. When actual jobs and business is on the line, it just might be “white lie” time ;)
As a woman feminism was never about women’s issue of work nor fairness......it was all about, and remains so today, of further breaking up the family unit which is the backbone of our country.
Today we have miserable women constantly complaining or looking for relief from the work-load they carry working outside and inside the home.
We have unhappy and lonely latchkey children who come home to empty houses at the end of their day.
Further we have confused and unhappy husbands who no matter what they do to assist it is never enough and always a no win situation for most.
But the feminists will always present a picture of the successful women while putting out there every means they can think of to keep propping her up to endure for ‘their sake’.
Agree 100%.
Feminism has done enormous damage and made almost everyone unhappy — but you can’t say that because it would be “misogynistic”.

Problem: after women vote for the “caring” Bill Clinton and not the “harsh” GW Bush based on photo ops at hurricane recovery scenes, we all have to live with the taxes,regulations, socialist agenda,borderless immigration and wimpy foreign policy. Not a good tradeoff, women. (NOT FReeper women who are very level headed. I’m talking about “undecided” or Dem women voters.)
Nice if we men could all think properly but we start with our inner reptile brain area which reacts by trying to kill all dangerous men or animals who could compete against us for food or territory and then work out to the later evolved compassionate and diplomatic solution areas-— which women use a lot.
During a hard day a female coworker told the old joke to me that women sometimes tell:
“I’d like to find the first woman that thought it was a good idea to leave home and get a job. I’d strangle her.”
It’s a not hard to understand, women tend to go to college to study in the humanities and social sciences, which are 100% cultural Marxist indoctrination camps.
