On Sept. 10, 2016, at a fund raiser in New York, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton infamously called half of Donald Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables.”
I’m sure you remember the moment. In a very real sense, Hillary lost the election that day.
The Trump campaign seized the opportunity. Mr. Trump had been behind in the polls but had started to make up ground. He needed an opening to pull even and eventually overcome the poll numbers. Hillary handed it to him on a platter. Donald Trump then hijacked the Democratic base.
Many of those deplorables, as Hillary called them, were actually hard-working “blue collar” voters who had been forgotten by the elites of the Democratic Party. Hillary was so wrong about them because her party had stopped

There was a whole bunch of RINOs that screwed this up, too. If you’re looking to attract a bunch of voters away from another candidate, calling them a bunch of idiots is not the way to do it. Morons!
Dems despise the working class people of the country.
Unfortunately, there are hardly any Democrats with enough intellectual capacity to digest something like that, even if they read it-which I doubt they did.

Yep, they just want to scream and accuse Trump of doing things that Bill actually did. When your husband is a serial sexual assaulter and you were always running interference for it, constantly bringing up sexual assault is not a winning formula.

Fake history grows out of fake news and fake polls. That was one of the idiotic statements the drunken, drug-soaked, libellous, racist old hag made during her long public career (and hs she still hasn't stopped making 'em), and it tipped more of the undecideds into the R column, but she never had any big lead, and as you probably remember, on election night, the Partisan Media Shills (like the one who spewed out the article linked above) wouldn't call the outcome and wouldn't announce the results in Pennsylvania, which in no way was expected to go. Probably PA had something to do with Hitlery's boasting and bragging about destroying the coal industry.
