Cali. Gov. Moonbeam openly weeps:

"Here are the facts: there is no massive wave of migrants pouring into California. Overall immigrant apprehensions on the border last year were as low as they’ve been in nearly 50 years (and 85 percent of the apprehensions occurred outside of California)."

— Jerry Brown on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 in a letter to the Trump administration

My granddaughter left for San Diego this morning for a Bio Med Convention with her peers from Brown University.

She's on crutches and also uses a wheel chair, recovering for a damaged tibia....from rock climbing.

But she's determined to give her presentation as planned months ago.

Please say a little prayer for her today...for health and success.

Yes...of course we tried to talk her out of it...but everyone cleared her...and off she went!!

God, I love that kid.

Very good. Put them in California. When the left screams, invite them to put up their homes, businesses, money and facilities to provide for the illegals. You have a mansion with empty rooms? Fine. House them. An extra bed? Your turn. LA complains? San Francisco? Take them in. Nancy Pelosi has enough room to erect camps on her vineyards. And enough of her millions to support them.

schools? What about LA.

The question lefties ask: ‘Is the US military really going to take on poor Latino families?’

The question logical persons ask: ‘Are poor Latino families really going to take on the US military?’

Re: https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2018/10/31/federal-law-limits-what-us-troops-deployed-at-the-border-can-do/

"Troops will not be allowed to detain immigrants, seize drugs from smugglers or have any direct involvement in stopping the migrant caravan...

Essentially, our troops will support our Border Patrol but they can do nothing directly to stop the invaders.

We need to drastically change our immigration, birthright and refugee laws to remove all incentive for the foreign invasion that our government has allowing. Unfortunately, that's unlikely to happen with a divided Congress.

Would the President's declaration of a national emergency for the purpose of national security give federal troops the power and action they need to stop the invaders?

If these invaders are being funded by Soros and/or other Americans, can these American scum be arrested for creating lawlessness ?

This is the price of illegal acceptance as here’s what we do know. Approximately one in five federal inmates are illegally in the country. According to the anti-immigration group Federation for American Immigration Reform, using data gathered from the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program, 12.9 percent of all state and local prisoners in California were illegal immigrants as of 2009. That number is significantly higher than illegal immigrants as percentage of the population. Furthermore, according to FAIR, illegal immigration costs the state of California some $23 billion per year.

The state’s burgeoning homelessness crisis hasn’t been aided by additional illegal immigration, either. In mid-2017, The Los Angeles Times reported that Latino homelessness had risen 63 percent over the prior year in Los Angeles County – and a significant percentage of those homeless were illegally in the country.

We also know that illegal immigration has come with serious costs in terms of gang violence. MS-13 is not a myth; there are some 10,000 members in the United States, and last May, 21 members of the gang were arrested in Los Angeles, more than half illegal immigrants. From 2005-2007, ICE made thousands of arrests of MS-13 members in the state. The 18th Street Gang counts somewhere from 30,000 to 50,000 members in the United States; again, a significant percentage of that population is in the country illegally.

This is not meant to suggest that illegal immigrants are a criminal threat on a broad level. It is meant to suggest that it is deeply irresponsible for California to refuse to cooperate with the federal authorities or to downplay data that could save lives.

The state of California obviously has the right to refuse to act as agents of the federal government for immigration purposes. But it seems that Democrats in California are eager to move even beyond that strategy: Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf allegedly warned illegal immigrants of an impending ICE raid, an open attempt to aid and abet illegal immigration itself.

This may help Democrats win elections, but it puts California taxpayers on the hook for costs, both criminal and civil – and it leaves voters without the proper information to make judgments on the efficacy of policy. If Democrats are going to claim that illegal immigration is an unalloyed good, at the very least they must provide us the data to show it is. Otherwise, they’re simply lying by omission in order to manipulate and create voters.

They should move some military bases to the border. Put an Airforce base in the middle, Two Army bases midway between the middle and the ocean, and two Navy bases at the ends. (San Diego is fine.) Make them all really skinny, like one mile wide and 20 miles long.

Then what they should do is to move personnel from blue states, close a couple bases in say, Massachusetts or Rhode Island. Nixon did it. Trump can too. Call it Trump’s revenge.

No real reason for these folks to invade CA; they’ve already conquered the state.

Except today, they said they’re heading to McAllen, TX. Just like I’ve been saying. The rules for getting in is the same for CA as TX. SD is too far. A week ago, one group was 500 miles from McAllen, so where the heck are they today? Crickets on that group.

Didn’t the San Diego city council vote to boycott any company that contracts to help build the wall? Perhaps they can vote to boycott the area’s military bases as well since they obviously don’t approve of keeping invaders out.
