The murder of John Dale Dotson and Jimmy Porter happened in April of 1983..... Zagorski convinced the men that he would sell them 100 lbs. of marijuana, when in reality, he had no plans of selling the drugs, just taking the money.

When the deal was supposed to go down, Zagorski shot the two men, slit their throats, and stole their money before fleeing.... He later had a shootout with police before being taken into custody.

I think i would have gone with lethal injection. Getting fried inside out sounds like it might hurt a little.

I started a vacation in Florida the day after they fried Ted Bundy. Obviously that was the #1 story on the local news that night.In one of the "on scene" reports they showed,featuring protesters for and against the execution, you could see a sign that said "Have A Seat,Ted".

I also like the option from the Mel Gibson movie Payback where Kris kristofferson is torturing mel to potential death and says he’ll hook up a blood transfusion to make it last 3 weeks if he has to.

But then again, I’m one who thinks the constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment is the most objectional part of the constitution. For some of these criminals and murderers there just isn’t a punishment that is too cruel, painful or unusual enough.

That first photo isn’t Zagorski, it’s Robert Glen Coe. Coe sexually assaulted and killed a little girl not far from my grandparents’ home in the late 70’s. It was a shocking crime in a small town. I will never forget it. By the time Tennessee executed him I was practicing law and knew his appellate attorney. His case gave me nightmares.
