The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 37% who Strongly Approve of the president is performing and 40% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -3. (See trends)

No this, like Kavaugh. is another magnificent screw up by the Dems. They thought the illegal caravan would stir up all the Female voters to think Trump and the GOP are “mean”.
It does not appear to be working
The Monday morning quarterbacking on this one is going to be brutal for the Democrats.
The Kavanaugh gambit. The over-hyping of an anti-Semite nut and a looney mail bomber. The Caravan. All combining to propel Trump to the top at precisely the wrong time.
Until they drop the hubris and start trying to understand the American voter these schemes will continue to blow-up in their faces.
I think the Dems gave the gift of the mob. Trump sees a problem and deals with it the way he thinks it is correct. Before Trump the caravan would have shut DC down for a few months, Trump just deals with it and makes decisions.
Most politicians just talk about it for the cameras. He is a doer and people like it. Imagine all the money we have wasted with the government talking about problems instead of fixing them.
Presidential approval is one of those general measures, commonly used to estimate how the Party of the President will fare in an election - like the Generic (do you favor R or D control of Congress) or the Right Track/Wrong Track.
I think the balance point was supposed to be 46% this year, for control of Congress, but that may have been based on the Real Clear Politics average, which is running around 44%.

Wonder who’s screwing with the markets this morning. Futures were up 350. Now that the amazing economic news is out, the markets suddenly reversed.

Never underestimate voter fraud.
They all said “It’s the economy, stupid” so Bush and others couldn’t win. Now with the economy roaring they are silent since it should help Trump’s guys.
Then they said Trump’s low approval and popularity is dragging down the GOP all over America.
Oh, yeah? What’s the excuse now, American people? Vote GOP now.
When Pelosi and Maxine and Schiff run them into the ground with their horror show, the American people will say “Maybe I should have voted GOP. All they do all day is investigate and fight Trump.” Too late.
Trump is the consummate project/program/portfolio manager. Everything he does is process. It’s not what he says, it’s what he does. Rat’s can’t figure it out because they run on emotion and not process.
