“National media reported one service member was killed and another was wounded in “an insider attack” at the Kabul Military Training Center on Saturday afternoon, when a member of the Afghan security forces opened fire on them, officials told the Washington Post. The attacker was then killed by Afghan forces.”
No idea what he stood for or what party etc, but as a Soldier, we are diminished.

Not true both Alexander and the Mongols tamed Afghanistan using the same basic method. Come to a village, town or city and meet resistance everybody dies. Go to the next place and repeat. Soon the natives were all to glad to cooperate. Faux ally attacks everybody dies. It was a long time before the Afghans resisted after the Greeks and Mongols moved on.
