• Morning AB, All. As always, thank you AB for doing this thread so reliably and keeping the peace with gentle thread policing. Thank you Bray for weekly written wisdom, Thank all yon contributors for excellent commentary to flesh it all out.

• Below are the words from my daily political diary. It is quite long so scroll on by if not interested. But do stay around and add your commentary and point of view to the thread.

Tuesday date-10/30/18

Miscellany

The mid-term elections are now but a week away.

This Thursday is All Saints Day, with Friday being All Souls Day.

The clock is turned back this weekend.

There was a huge plane crash in the Java Sea by an Indonesian airplane.

All 189 people on board are considered to have perished.

It’s Lion Air, a cheap airline ran by a cheap country.

Taking life into hands when flying Indonesian’s toy airplanes.

Wednesday date-10/31/18
-
The caravan continues to move forward and meanwhile Hillary Clinton makes the dumbest damn joke ever.

She’d been discussing such as civility when the interviewer asked what she thought of Corey Booker declaring that we should kick them when they are down.

“That was Eric Holder,” Hillary corrected.

“It’s ok, they all look the same,” Hillary snorted.

Based on the old joke about negroes looking all alike but heh, that was back when I was young and of course they don’t all look alike.

I might suppose Hillary was trying to be funny and she maybe was worth a quick but embarrassing giggle.

Why is this woman insisting on keeping the dislikes between the races ongoing? Why can’t she say something nice, like not saying Democrats will not be civil until they win elections.

Hillary…….we should have voted for her.

Thursday Date-11/01/18

The scuttlebutt is that Bret Kavanaugh rejected the $600,000 contributed by supporters.

Time for Ballsey Ford to turn her million bucks from Gofundme for lying.

She’s a state Senator from Missouri and she tweeted that she wants Trump assassinated.

She took the tweet down real quick but you know how those things go.

And they keep saying Trump is the one being uncivil.

So President Trump says he’s going to stop the practice of automatically making babies born in America citizens.

I won’t go into the details. I listened and I read and I learned. I get that it was never the intent of the 14th amendment to grand citizenship to babies born to illegal aliens when in the United States.

I understand that the constitution does not say all babies born in America are automatically citizens.

Turns out they must be born to parents that are subject to the laws of America and with loyalty to same.

Anyway, I do get it and I’ve got issues with it all.

Bur for now, if I can read up on this matter, WHY THE HELL CAN’T PAUL RYAN???

First thing the jerk goes out and says no way will Trump do this.

Ryan, you congress critters, every damn one of you, need to read up on the subject. Attend a class on the issue.

Then sit down like congress critters should do and craft laws and/or amendments to get what the people want.

More on this matter at another time…..

Friday date-11/02/18

No less than Rush Limbaugh offered an explanation for the cavalcade of immigrants approaching our southern border.

Rush says that many countries in Europe were also approached by caravans of immigrants and many European countries let them in.

Germany, for example, wanted more low wage workers for its factories. Angela Merkel is not running for re-election for a constituency not liking strangers in the thousands invited by the thousands to rape the women.

France regularly gets its cars burned and couple times a year someone blows up a place of business.

Greece, already dirt poor, chooses more welfare and let the Muslim invaders do all the work.

The same people who organized those mass invasions to Europe are behind the big invasion of America.

The timing of the “invasion” is also a clue. The Muslim oil money behind all this does NOT much like this current administration.

With an important election coming up those who want to take us over want to scare Americans, AND the sitting President, into allowing the immigrants in to take over it all.

Hillary would have figuratively opened the border door, told us what wonderful and sweet people they were, set up a GOFUNDME account for the poorer, and boom, Sharia law soon is the rule and women must wear burkas.

Alec Baldwin arrested for fight over parking spot.

Just in, as of this writing.

Saturday date-11/03/18

As of this writing the mid-term election is but three days away.

Who do I think will win?

Okay, I’ll take a chance.

General agreement is that the Repubs will hold the Senate.

Of course they will.

As for the House, I think the Repubs will hold on to that as well.

It’s a simple guestimate as to how it will turn out but so far as I am concerned, the Democrats bring nothing to the table.

This will be the end of Clinton glory.

On a personal note:

…I’ve written before about my granddaughter, 15 come Dec. 11, beautiful, smart and now, promoted to a PFC in JRROTC in a program in the same high school that I graduated from.

Bearing in mind, for my lack of modesty, and this is sad, her mother has Munchausen disease, loves to get sick, lives with the crazy people, abandoned Granddaughter when she was 12. A few weeks ago her father-who has custody of her because Granddaughter could not handle living with the crazy people-has been diagnosed with a very severe case of intestinal cancer.

But Granddaughter goes in at 6 in the am to ROTC, she’s got every guy in the place liking her, she’s got a good disposition. She does love her mother but I do not discuss.

If Granddaughter’s mother was lying dead in the street I’d step over the body, with a smile, and walk away. I bought her a house, she painted devil’s things on the wall, ripped out and sold all the appliances. I had to give her $10K to get her name off the house, spit and hiss.

Granddaughter knows this. My dream is that some day Granddaughter and I will get together and study this Munchausen as I suspect there are many of these sorts out there but the gubmint will help, the gubmint will grant the nut jobs custody of their kids that they should not have. The gubmint will grant any restraining order the Munchausen nut job wants.

Someday, me and Granddaughter will study, maybe write about the matter.

Meanwhile, she says to me, “Dad’s bringing me Chick Filet for dinner,” on Facetime where I am the ugliest person in the world. I smile and say they have great chicken.

“Well they’re not too nice to the gay people,” she responds.

Now why does she say this?

Chick Filet-A known for being religious and all that but when have they ever been bad to Gay people?

Granddaughter had to learn this in school. I’m telling you people, schools are all teaching these children lies and prejudice.

So I ask if she is going to college.

“Yes, I want to go to Berkley or Lawrence,” she responds.

“Berkley?” I ask. Lord talk about your nut jobs.

“Yeah,” Granddaughter says with a squint. “I bet you’re going to say they’re a bunch of liberals at Berkley.”

Well this makes me smile. Because that’s exactly what I was going to say.

She also is interested in Lawrence university in Appleton, Wisconsin.

In both cases she wants to major in….guess?

PSYCHOLOGY!

Indeed Granddaughter likely wants to learn more about her nutty mother and, indeed, she looked up colleges which specialize in degrees in Psychology.

Bearing in mind she’s but 15 but life is throwing rocks at her every step of the way. She also has a half-brother when her Muncheussen mother bore a child at age 14. Granddaughter’s mother could care less about that child, her daughter Granddaughter, her own biological mother (me), a dog, a car or a house. She wants the crazy people and to live in a mental institution, no ties, just give me the money.

Granddaughter’s doing good in these Marines though, God bless.

Next Saturday night she is attending the Marine Ball. Got a beautiful dress, is gorgeous.

The Marines…..she is really serious about this.

Better than Google.

I cringe every time I hear someone suggest "Google it"

Search it , or BING it, but never Google it. Google is poison.

The Fox panel: Brit Hume, Juan Williams, Karl Rove and Marie Harf. Four never Trumpers. Fair and Balanced? Under the Murdoch brats Fox has moved to the left and likely will never be what it once was.

LOL! I no longer have cats, but when I did, daylight savings time did mess with their internal dinner bell clocks .... the horses, too. It took between 1 and 2 weeks for them to make the adjustment.

SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES (FNC): Ron DeSantis, Republican candidate for Florida governor; Larry Kudlow, White House economic adviser; Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La.; Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio;

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al Saud, founder and CEO of the Kingdom Holding Company and a member of the Saudi royal family.

Nothing of interest this weekend aside from this little nugget

Looks like we may have a bloody coup coming in Saudi

Next week's Sunday funnies however should be very interesting, and if the Republicans, even with a set of new RINO Senators, hold the House and Senate, these shows will be a Must Watch

...
PDJT will need to be involved some way to keep Iran from taking over...freedom loving people in both countries will need to be involved.

The invitation I’m sure (aka, caravan) has Saudi money, Soros money funding it...I’m sure...we don’t need their oil...They are desperate...blood will be shed...Las Vegas shooting was just a start on their internal struggles.

Yes, Fox News Channel has seen its best days. I only watch select programs and they are diminishing all the time!!! FNC & FBN is following in the footsteps of CNN & MSNBC. They now have joined with Matt Drudge and entered the “Dark Side, Deep Swamp, Cesspool.”

Could you imagine If FNC/FBN ever had the guts and foresight to go all “Conservative”...their ratings would would beyond their wildest imaginations. But, alas, no such luck.....the small, worn out, deadbeat, minds have now banded together...FNC,FBN, CNN & MSNBC are now one and the same. I have also stopped reading and scanning The Drudge Report...it is worthless!!!

That fox panel certainly means nothing of substance will be discussed as Fox moves closer to MSNBC status

Right now it just turned 7:00 am here.

The outside dog won’t stop barking (and I can tell when it is a bark for attention—it is) and the inside dog and cat are following me around, almost getting under my feet as I refreshed my coffee.

They know something’s disrupting the routine and they do not like it one bit!

Tough. They have to wait while I wake up. Don’t want to mistakenly feed them rat poison.

Chik Fil A.

A good fast food restaurant, who’s owner once spoke out against gay marriage.

A store that never once refused to serve a gay person, nor treated any gay customers with no less respect than any other customer, and compared to McDonalds or Burger King, has far better customer service to begin with.

I’m not a big chicken sandwich fan, so I don’t go to Chik Fil A often, but I wish some of their attitude was adopted by other fast food joints!

The lies told by the Left and are readily accepted do great harm to the body politic.

Gotta love it having got up at 4:00 am to feed our rental cat!!

..................

Lots going on this week.

Here's how I see it come Wendesday:

We should be up in the Senate 5-7 and hold the House with an 8-10 advantage.

I could be wrong. It could be better!!

By now we have done the lion's share of the work that needs to be done. Big night here on Tuesday night as the election thread will rock on all night long for sure.

FreeRepublic is open 24/7 doing the work that some do for a couple of weeks every two years. We need them,no doubt. But, the hard work is done here!! Time to acknowledge who beats away the commies day in and day out:

IT'S US!!

Let me add to this:

A good fast food restaurant, who’s owner once spoke out against gay marriage.

Not to discriminate against gays, but to defend Holy Matrimony, which he defined, due to his religious believes and teachings, as being between a man and a woman.

Nothing he said was harmful or mean-spirited to gays.

Either freedom of speech exists or it doesn't.

Gays can refuse to eat there, that's their freedom of speech.

However, no one has the right to outright lie and slander.

BTW, I've changed my mind over the years on gays and marriage. I still do not believe in two men or two marrying, but since so much of the tax codes are tied up with benefits for married people, I think civil unions would have been the way for gays AND hetero people who are non-religiously "married" (by a judge, ship captain, non-religious government authority) and keep marriage reserved as a religious thing only.

So people who get married in a church FIRST get a civil union--for tax and legal purposes, just like everybody else; but then get married in a church to acknowledge the union before God. As far as THAT goes, they'll have to follow the dictates of their church. If that means no sex before a church wedding, well, the true believer will follow that restriction.

The atheists, pagans, and just non-believers can go fornicate anytime they want anyways.

Ahhhh.

Granddaughter tells me Chick Filet-A is not nice to Gay people.

That’s not quite the same as being against Gay marriage.

Ah well....she’s only 15. I was liberal at that age.

But I desperately wanted to join the army at granddaughter’s age but back in the day they didn’t let women join.

Her father is quite conservative, as is that entire side of the family. All this liberal talk is coming from her school.

I don’t think this will last long with granddaughter.

She was “promoted” last weekend to a PFC.

I’m learning all this military talk.

Truth be told, she says that ROTC chapter is like her family.

Poor kid, her family was busted up by our own US gubmint based on the words of a crazy woman.
