Praying as hard as I can that Tuesday will indeed be a glorious reaffirmation that we MAGA deplorables actually do outnumber the lunatic leftists!!!
As our POTUS notes, crowd sizes speak volumes and pollsters don’t factor in the silent majority that turned out in droves two years ago.
I’m all ready to call Charlie Cook and the others at Cook Political report frauds and dnc propagandists.
Oh wait, I already call them that.
The polls record imperfectly peoples’ answers to questions about how they would vote. They call numbers randomly until they get the desired numbers of people in specific categories: Black, White, Hispanic, young, old, professional, etc. Then they arrogantly proclaim that their results can be applied to the entire population.
Nothing matters except turnout. Nothing will stop me from voting Tuesday. There is no way I want mad maxine in control of the finance committee, or democrats having a majority anywhere.
It’s a sad state of affairs that the GOPee requires Trump to do all of the heavy lifting of their sorry butts (Freedom Caucus and a few Senators excepted).
Pray, yes.But more importantly, VOTE!
A most excellent read
We will know in three days.
So that explains the goofy, OMG! face on the goon-faced Halfrican when he met the impressive president-elect.
The dirt Hillary was supposed to sweep under the rug is now in the hands of the man the Halfrican tried to destroy.
"After all we did for her, that lousy Hillary lost. "Howm I gonna get out of the mess Im in?"
"I know, well invent Russian collusion.......lie like crazy........setup Trump to take the blame.
Charlie Cook is in dreamland as are the media, the pollsters & the pundits. Egg will be all over their faces when Tuesday evening rolls around and the election returns come in and are counted!!! I can’t wait to see these idiots eating crow once again!!!
This guy seems to have a basic fact wrong. How would it be a historic turn of events not seen in 32 years if the GOP holds the House? What was so special about 1986? And didn’t the GOP do exactly the same thing in 2002?
Stupid Republicans will do their best to blow it again.
Although, they have a obstacle in their way that they didn’t have before.
I know I can't vote yet, but I think the Dems will be blue...because of a red wave...
Midterm results do not usually break for the party in power.
Democrat pundits are combining the “party in power loses seats in the midterms” with Rat hatred of Trump to make their decisions. None of it is based on why the rat could do a better job.
We got a call from a political pollster yesterday; they asked for my wife. I asked her if she wanted to talk to them. She did not. Nearly all of the calls we get from pollsters are from organizations that we suspect are working for Democrats or are some sort of scam. So we have stopped talking to them.
I suspect that the percentage of Republicans who participate in polls is lower than that of Democrats. Democrats are always seeking approval from the media and Hollywood personalities who are brainwashing them, while Republicans want their privacy and to be left alone. So I believe if the amount of cheating is somehow held down that Republicans will do much better than predicted.
This is going to be the great question for Democrats, starting in November and going forward. “Are you more unhappy about the results of the 2018 election, or the 2016 election?” and “when you characterize the Republicans party as the ‘party of hate’ does it occur to you that the American people, led by the Republican Party hate **you**? Does that change how you view Republicans in the American people?” And I love the idea of grief counselors, advertised on the TDN grief counselor line for deranged Democrats. Call I;n and express your inner disappointments, for $0.75 a minute. What a money maker that would be.
I hope this is sarcasm. 2016 was neither a landslide nor a runaway crushing. It was a last minute squeaker that could have very easily gone the other way. A landslide is 59% to 41% and 49-2 in states like 1984. Any other Republican would probably have lost in 2016 because I don't see any of them from Kasich to Cruz picking up the upper midwest.
In 1986 there was a Republican in the White House, and the Democrats retained control of the House -- which they had controlled continuously since January 1955.
In other words, there was nothing "historic" about 1986 at all.
And even if there had been something historic about 1986, then why is the author making a big deal about it when the GOP maintained control of the House during a Republican administration in 2002?
Does anyone fact-check this nonsense anymore?
