More than twice as many Texas voters, by percentage, cast ballots during early voting this year, compared to the totals from the 2014 midterm elections, according to the Secretary of State's office.

Early voting ended Friday and already 4,884,528 (39.86 percent of voters) have gone to the polls or mailed in a ballot. In 2014, 1,715,731 (19.11 percent) early voted.

Collin County (Plano is here) should be a Red County and favor Ted Cruz.

I’m one of those early voters (Allen).

I have an aluminum donkey in my entryway (won at a raffle, unfortunately). I tell me house guests that the only democrat in Collin County stays at my house, freeloading...

I was one of the early voters. I’m calling Collin County for all Republican winners. This election will be decided in the three largest cities however.

“It means Beto pissed away a lot of money.”

And he’s pissed away more on the Caravans which are starting to break up and go home! God Bless Trump for having the fortitude to say they are not going to enter our country. I guess that now that the supposed negative impact of a border skirmish on election day failed to materialize, the money behind the caravans has dried up!

More than half the early voters are in Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Bexar, and Travis counties.

Not unexpected, they are the big cities.

Collin County (Plano is here) should be a Red County and favor Ted Cruz.

Should continue to be. There are tons of Betomania signs in my neighborhood. Lot's of folks falling for his sales pitch without doing their homework.

But I think most here are like me ... we don't bother advertising who we're voting for with yard signs and such.
