In previous generations, especially the WWII generation, aka the greatest generation, Democrats like Zell Miller were the norm.
The Democrat rank and file were filled with WWII and Korean War Vets who were rock solid patriotic Democrats.
The Democrat Party since has been taken over by a hardcore leftist progressive contingent. They are a danger to America.
Yes there was a time when you can honestly say that democrats and their party actually loved America—it was just a matter of how you felt it should be run—more government or less government with a few other differences. But you never doubted that the average Joe democrat loved America.
heck, I’ll even go on a limb and say that even Carter loved America—he was just a disaster all around. A forewarning of whats to come.

Boy - the “person” running on the demon ticket for governor of GA is something else. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that good sense prevails tomorrow!!! Prayers are needed for GA and FL races as well as the entire country!
