Been Looking at data from TargetSamart , mostly in the states of GA, FL, TX, CA and CO.
In states that are competitive, the Democrats have been turning out "Unmarried, Female, Infrequent Voters".
The Republicans have been turning out "Older, Highly Motivated, Male Voters"
I know who I thinks going to win ...
Really? I do not believe that.
I’ll be honest here because, well, it’s not like I’ll get grounded or something :)
I don’t regularly vote in midterms for BAD reasons.
I live in NYC and the senate is a given D, and there’s NO WAY my Staten Island house rep will EVER go D.
BAD reasons I know.
This time around, I voted absentee WAY before election day.
I’m one of those motivated, older males.
And there are others I know who don’t vote regularly in midterms who have ALREADY voted also.
It’s Trump.
He makes you WANT to win.
Because older people don’t want to have Single Payer health care, which would mean, the Government decides if they get that hip surgery or get sent home with an aspirin and a pat on the head
Which Part ? Women Voters with HS or less, and having little Voter Participation, have increased ~10% for the Democrats this cycle keeping them competitive.
When I lived in Eltingville, I didn’t consider it NYC :)
It is very difficult to get “Infrequent Voters” to go to the polls.
It is rather simple to get “Highly Motivated Voters” to the polls.
The advantage goes to the Republicans.
Eltingville!! :)
Nice town.
I say that on here because it technically is part of NYC and I don’t want to explain how different Staten Island is every time if I say we’re NOT REALLY part of NYC :)
DITTO !!!
About 2 million early and absentee votes have been cast in Georgia.
We are not required to register to vote by party affiliation,
so whatever they say about Georgia is just a wild ass guess.
They use 3rd party data to model you ..
Just pulling your leg :) I still get Pastosa raviolis delivered on holidays. Bobby Joyce’s gin mill on Richmond Ave. was a spot for me back in the day. Flatbush Ave was my stomping grounds as a kid in the 50s & 60s, and even that wasn’t the “city” to us kids!
Cat ladies vs their ex-husbands. Congratulations. We are witnessing a National Divorce.
Yeah, I know, just like I said...a wild ass guess.
The part about the “vs” just being the “Older, highly motivated males.” The older females are a huge group, too. Does someone think we were swayed by the garbage?
Flatbush Avenue. Some parts you need to carry a gun now :)
My mom lived near pennsyvlania and Blake near Brownsville in the 30s and 40s.
You need a machine gun for that neighborhood now!! :)
I know the ‘ville well. Very, very well.
