Maxine Waters is typical of the disrespect liberal blacks in prominent positions exhibit toward working-class blacks. Waters recently told supporters, that if Democrats take back the House of Representatives, she would become the chairwoman of the Financial Services Committee; and if and whenever that happens, she wants the financial sector to know it’s going to be “payback time.”
The Financial Services Committee is responsible for the oversight of all insurance companies, Wall Street and banks; Waters garrulously claimed: “I’m going to do to you what you did to us.” Just to be clear, Waters is saying she is going to sc–w these companies out of some demonic vendetta, because according to her they sc–wed her peeps.
Herein is the reprehensible disrespect. She treats blacks like they were Pavlov’s dogs. She treats them as if there is a behavioral response associated with certain word usage. Ergo, if she claims that re-electing her and other Democrats guarantees revenge for some perceived mythical misdeeds by financial institutions, blacks will sit up on their hind legs and go woof-woof.

The greatest financial misdeed was in 2007 when Pelosi demanded banks lend to any sub prime applicant who could fog a mirror. They knew exactly what they were doing. It was evil. Pelosi is evil. They beat poor blacks out of billions, put many creditors into bankruptcy, and came within an inch of collapsing the entire financial system.

Maxine seems not to understand that even under her best case scenario she can’t override a veto by Trump. She won’t have any power to do any of these things.
She has no clue how the most productive economic engine in the history of Man works. Like all Liberals, she thinks the only way for you to get a bigger slice of the pie is to take away from those who have a bigger slice. They don’t grasp the fact that policies that encourage economic growth and growing the pie by 5% is the same as a 5% raise for everyone. The adage “A rising tide lifts all boats” escapes them. I’m surprised Maxine can breathe without help.
Despite the abject failure of Marxism and Socialism (look at Venezuela) throughout history, Liberals and most Millennial, want it. Yet, recent on-the-street interviews with Millennial who favor Socialism cannot even define what it is. They have blindly bought into it without even bothering to understand it. If this juggernaut isn’t turned around, I fear my grand kids are doomed.
But, they will only control one-with of the government. Expect only threats, lies and outright failure to get what they want.
“Financial Sector” will simply say fine, and pass along the increases to the general public. It’s how it works.
