Fake Pro-Life Democrat Joe Manchin Wins Re-Election Bid Against Pro-Life Candidate Pat Morrisey

Fake pro-life Democrat Joe Manchin has won his bid for re-election in West Virginia against Pro-Life candidate Pat Morrissey.

Manchin insists he’s a pro-life Democrat. But when is a pro-life Democrat not really a pro-life Democrat? When it’s Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia — who was caught posing for a picture with a group of Planned Parenthood abortion activists. Last year, Manchin was caught holding a sign stating “I Stand With Planned Parenthood” along with an abortion activist.

Senator Manchin has voted at odds with his purported pro-life views. He recently voted against a measure that would overturn President Barack Obama’s parting gift to Planned Parenthood that prevented States from defunding the abortion company.

And he refuses to support Amendment 1, which would end taxpayer funding of abortions in West Virginia.

Although the senator claims to be pro-life, his voting record leaves much to be desired. According to National Right to Life, Manchin has just a 33% pro-life voting record this session.

Before the vote, National Right to Life announced its endorsement of pro-life Attorney General Patrick Morrisey in West Virginia’s U.S. Senate election.

“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Patrick Morrisey for the U.S. Senate. Patrick Morrisey’s position on life reflects the true values of West Virginia’s voters,” said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president. “Many West Virginia voters will be disappointed to learn that while Joe Manchin claims to be pro-life, he has a dismal 44 percent pro-life voting record in his career as a U.S. senator.”

Sen. Joe Manchin (D) supports giving hundreds of millions of dollars of government funds to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, which performs about one out of every three abortions in America.

Patrick Morrisey is pro-life and supports legal protection of unborn children, and he opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion. As West Virginia’s attorney general, Patrick Morrisey joined the national lawsuit supporting conscience rights of Little Sisters of the Poor. He joined other attorneys general nationwide to defend H.R. 2, a Texas pro-life law, and North Carolina’s Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

Can't win them all.

I'd rather have A. James Manchin over Joe too!

West Virginia and Montana will likely both re-elect Democrat Senators, then vote massively for Trump in 2020. It makes no sense. Trump saved the WV coal industry and they stab him in the back!

I heard Patrick Morrisey on Mark Levin’s show, and when he was pointing out some of his views, the first view Morrisey mentioned was “I am strongly pro-life.”
