Republicans have been doing pretty well tonight too, especially in statewide races.
A lot of people said Kobach was "unelectable" during the primary race.

Worst loss of the night, so far. Dave Brat on deck.

No loss. Trump wanted him for DC and that’s where he is going. He will set immigration policy.

Well, there goes Kansas.
Sad. I used to think it was a nice place to live.

It is; We survived Kitty Sebilius, we’ll survive Kelly.
To: libh8er
Yes, I was thinking the next AG. Too bad that KS will have a Dem governor, though.

Used to live there. Kansans can be idiots like this.

Maybe Kelly will tax the hapless Jayhawkers into oblivion. They asked for it.
To: Theodore R.
At 9:30pm, only 65% of the votes are in. It’s not over till it’s over. It’s too soon to call it.
To: Trump20162020
Kobach was only unelectable due to moderate establishment Republicans taking their ball and going home when they did t get their preferred nominee. Conservatives are of course expected to fall in line for the general every time their guy comes up short in primary, but when its the other way around, well, loyalty doesnt go both ways apparently.
Its a bad loss. Kobach is not a Moore/Akin/Mourdock type of candidate, which is to say hes not an idiot who did himself in with stupid comments and behavior. He was targeted and maligned as an extremist by the media, and a large slice of Kansas Republicans bought the lie.

So glad we are done with this state. Selling our house next year and repatriating to Texas
To: Aetius
It was Brownback. Left a bad taste in the mouth of the voters. Shouda nominated a Bush Republican.
