Each Juror will need a complete Seal Team for protection.
Why can’t we just level Mexico?

Jurors will need 24/7/365 protection, particularly when Guzman is found “GUILTY”. (Even the “Alternates” need to worry)

He never should have been tried in civilian court. He is a foreign national and his crimes are a matter of national security, and is considered an extremely dangerous offender. he should have been flown to a coral atoll and face a military tribunal.

Our civilian population shouldn’t be expected to preside over the fate of a drug lord terror army supreme commander. This ain’t a traffic ticket or liquor store robbery.

Is the jury really anonymous? Assuming they’re sequestered, how hard is it to find out where a group of 12-15 people is being taken each day and what van they’re in?

That same thought came to mind. With dangerous thugs like him there should be a better way.

Probably not. That’s why one of the jurors broke down into tears and tried to get off the panel. The judge denied the request.

Plus unless the jail is at the courthouse, he has to be transported through the streets of Brooklyn twice a day. It’s insane.

That’s one lottery I’m glad I lost.

I wonder if they can finally get a New York carry permit.

They sure deserve a carry permit but I’d bet the farm they won’t get one.
