He was gone in a few days time.
Now they are changing their tune when it comes to their commrade.
At several points in that press conference, even before Acosta put his hand on the young woman, Trump was clearly agitated. All of you guys know that look on his face and that body movement, even women do. You know it. When someone has pissed you off so much you start getting into that fight mode, you pace back and forth, you tighten your jaw, roll the shoulders, all of which Trump did. Anybody who has ever been in a fight knows what’s coming next. If Trump, even as president had been alone or in a smaller setting he’d have punched Acosta right in the mouth. I can’t believe the Secret Service didn’t step in as the situation got tense. God bless that young woman but her getting up that close to president, even though he directed her to, I would have thought an agent should have moved in between her and the president just to be safe.
You’re welcome. Generally the press fawn over Democrats and argue with Republicans. They cover for Democrats without pushing back, definitely not like this Acosta fellow. So many scandals got scant coverage because they took most of his answers at face value, or played down or ignored negative aspects of Obama’s presidency.
Remember Helen Thomas? To be fair even Obama had to tell her to “pipe down”. But Obama wasn’t far enough left for her - again to be fair her big gripe was the wars.
In this case they don’t respect the man, nor even the office and seem to be more uncivil to Trump, just as per the Democrat talking points.
