As an aside, the press is trying to force their postmodernist rules and vocabulary on the President and he's having none of it.
The postmodern term here that they are trying to force is that "nationalist" automatically means "white nationalist" (i.e. white supremacist). The are trying to paint Trump with the racist brush simple because he doesn't want open borders and wants to stop the "caravan."
The press is trying to create a PC link so that the word "nationalist" will always bring to mind "white supremacist."
Trump refused to play that game and the press is pissed.
The postmodern "rule" they were trying to force on Trump is that Black folks can never be racist. He also refused to play that game and, by implication, called her a racist.
And then to top it all off, he pulls Acosta's WH press pass.

It’s great. If this is the “Toning down” he spoke of I like it. He should have been nipping this stuff in the bud from the start.
I’ll paraphrase a tag line I saw on here yesterday and found it simply brilliant:

The President says something about “toning it down” and they chase the red dot over here. Then all of a sudden the red dot isn’t over here any more, it’s over there! He’s always ahead of them, always moving the red dot someplace else.
