In case you missed it earlier Wednesday, we highlighted an Election Day piece by Tiana Lowe, who predicted that if the big blue wave didn’t happen, white women would be made the scapegoats by the Left by Wednesday. And she was right.
We’ve already done a couple of posts on the “vagina shaming” of conservative women who voted Republican, but the hits just keep coming. Here’s the Atlantic’s Jemele Hill making the exact same argument: that white women are voting against their own interests to preserve the patriarchy.

How many marches? How much energy does the left-wing press put into trying to control the country? They did it with Obama, now they think they can be pushers of left-wing ideas forever. People have other ways of getting the news. The drama on T.V. and in the press must go on and on and on. They want to make everyone crazy.

The left will never understand that it’s not the way they deliver the message, it’s the actual message some people don’t like. There are some people that just don’t like liberalism no matter how it’s presented.

I am a white, female conservative: college degreed and hardly looking to my husband for guidance. As a matter of fact, he votes the way I tell him to b/c I pay a lot more attention to the issues/ candidates than he does.
Not sure of others, but I’m getti g tired of all the White-bashing in popular culture these days. All I can say us don’t pull that sh!t on me. I’m an old guy who carries.

I think Republican women vote for their family. Some feminists don’t have a family with men and boys in it, and don’t love anyone who is not a mirror image of themselves. They don’t get it that you could vote for the interests of your basic economic and social and spiritual unit, and not just for yourself.

My wife and I have definitely had it. We see White bashing all over, and we just tear into people. It’s hateful, it’s racist, it’s intolerant — everything the damn do-gooders say they believe in, but they violate it all because they need to bash Whites for being White. Don’t try that stuff around me.
I agree with you, but it won’t happen.
They cannot comprehend that other women can think for themselves and arrive at conclusions completely different from theirs. If we don’t think like they do, then we’re doing what someone else tells us, though they’d be happy to be the ones telling us what to do and what to think.
I’d like someone to explain to me how having higher taxes, a miserable economy, more criminals on the streets, etc. is in my best interest.
The whole “patriarchy” and “whie male supremacy” thing is getting really old, too. Those are what I’d call excuses. You haven’t been successful in life because of some white guy somewhere? Kwicherbichin and make your own success in life. That “victim” train you’re riding is going nowhere good.
