Rep. Beto O'Rourke's closer-than-expected loss Tuesday has fueled optimism among his friends and allies -- as well as Democratic admirers across the country -- that he will run for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
O'Rourke smashed online fundraising records on the way to coming within 3 percentage points of unseating Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. He ended the campaign with the tools, including a massive email list and a national progressive following, to remain a force in Democratic politics. But he hasn't signaled, even privately, what his next move will be. O'Rourke huddled with senior campaign aides Wednesday in El Paso, but offered them no indication of future political plans -- saying he first planned to spend time at home with his family after nearly two years on the road and process the election's results before weighing what comes next, one person present for the conversations said.

online fundraising is the new money laundering. Watch the sales of $25 gift cards during fundraising cycles and they pay people a few bucks an hour to “donate” the funds in an amount that does not need to be reported (that law is there for a reason).
A loser is still a loser.
Close than expected?
They expected to win and that includes CCCP I mean CCN
I thought I read yesterday that the ‘Rat powers-that-be plan to get Nanny Bloomie at the head of the ticket.
I have a freind that I previously had respect for.....until she put up a Beto in 2020 banner. She has a PhD in Psychology. Never married and no kids. I guess, no matter how smart women were previously, the ones without a husband or wealth to carry them through their lives, will always vote for the Government to take care of them.
*friend*
All the millions and millions and all the Hispanics in Texas and he still cannot win?
Maybe he is defective.
I thought they would ask Paul Ryan to be the top of uniparty ticket.
So now it’s “closer than expected” when they were telling us the Blue Wave would sweep him to victory a month ago.
I pray this asshat runs so his hypocrisy can be exposed on a national level.
He’ll definitely be the dems candidate:
Pocahontas doesn’t have a chance of winning TX or FL.
If the DNC gives its support to white male candidate O’Rourke early in the nomination process, that’s not going to go over well with supporters of Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, or Elizabeth Warren. Also, if Bernie Sanders runs again, his people are still seething over what the DNC did to them last time.

They will put Gillum on the bottom of the ticket. He is HBC “educated” and a vicious race baiter. Problem solved.
PRyno applied, but I think he will get but a global cabal peon position.
If this beto guy runs, he just might win. Half the population votes for a candidate because they consider him sexy. They will never admit it.
He is as qualified as an octopus, but that doesn’t matter.
But he will not run. The democrat party will not run a White male, even if he is empty-headed and “charismatic.” They will run a black or a m*slim who declares his/her/zeyr hatred for this country.
My guess is that he will run, not for president, but for the Senate seat that comes up in 2020, especially if Cornyn chooses to retire. He is, unfortunately, well positioned for this.
His name is Robert Francis....do not allow him to pretend to be latino
I’ve heard his votes cost over $20 apiece.
Robert Francis Wannabe-Kennedy O’Rourke. I hear Sirhan Sirhan is up for parole next year.
If this guy’s name needs to be brought up, we need to use his real name Robert Francis O’Rourke. Like any lying Dem, he’s pretending to be what he’s not. He ain’t no Hispanic wonder boy.
