I know this would probably make all sorts of libs (and maybe others) angry when saying something like this, but it is likely time to start confronting the issues surrounding why these hordes from Central America and Mexico try to come into the United States like this. The culture of American drug abuse, which in turn gives money to the drug lords who brutally rule over these areas is likely that major cause, in addition to corrupt and incompetent political leadership there.

It’s one thing to build a wall, granted, but you are likely also going to have to help clean up the bad neighbourhood in order to keep it from spreading into yours. FDR recognized this regarding World War II over the vociferous objections from many who thought the U.S. should stay out of European wars (in spite of his other policies that do have legitimate reasons to be criticized). And IIRC, FDR as a young man was routinely looked down upon by his upper class peers for the work he and Eleanor did in the slums of NYC.

Bravo! Should be the quickest consultation of record based simply on whether Mexico wishes to continue its existing relationship with USA - with no new inducements. Our national security is at risk. Is Mexico an ally or not?

The agreement should include a modest but adequate buffer zone immediately south of the border for the use of our law enforcement agencies and military, as necessary to obtain the desired results.

Might work, but short of a true wall, he could just set up a bunch of stanchions a couple miles long, perhaps with a priority line for Arabs and coyotes.

And make sure they take their shoes off before going through the “hands up don’t shoot” x-ray scanners.

Of course, migrants can always demand the free massage and be screened manually by gender-declared appropriate TSA agents.

Given the lines I had to sit through at FTL recently, this should slow the Caravan’s entrance to a couple years.
