The war for America’s soul was lost with the election of Bill Clinton. Get over it. All you can do now is work to save your own soul.
Must disagree; Clinton had the luxury of beating a split ticket (may Ross Perot rot in...never mind) in 1992 and a namby Republican in 1996.
IMO America recovered some of its soul in 2016 and good & evil now contend at least on an even footing, kind of like a person with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other.
