Trump trade adviser tells Wall Street to stay out China trade talks (TOP trade advisor Navarro)

Donald Trump’s top adviser on manufacturing lashed out at “globalist billionaires” for conducting “shuttle diplomacy” with China to try to pressure the White House into a deal with Beijing at the G20 summit in Argentina later this month.

Warning that any deal risked having the “imprimatur of Goldman Sachs”, Peter Navarro, one of the most prominent China trade hawks within Mr Trump’s administration, called on Wall Street to “get out of the negotiations” and put their money in “Dayton, Ohio” instead.

Mr Navarro said a “self-appointed group of Wall Street bankers and hedge fund managers” that were part of a Chinese “influence operation” were putting a “full court press” on the White House ahead of the G 20. “The mission of these unregistered foreign agents . . . is to pressure this president into some kind of deal,” Mr Navarro said.

It is so wonderful, to finally, finally have someone on America's side.

It has been a complete generation, we have been being sold out.

FINALLY.

I have supported Trump here for a long, long time.

Since before he even announced as a candidate.

Have you?

I wonder if the snake Ryan has enough satisfaction at losing the House, which I have thought was his goal ever since Trump was elected, or if he wants still more revenge and will stymie anythng that is on the Trump agenda, no matter how good it is for the country.

It will be interesting to see just where this snake gets his next employment.

I’ll be watching.

I have, and I know you did, but all you’ve done since he has been in office has been to bitch about your perceived lack of progress. All I’m saying is it took you a while to see that he was making progress, almost since Day 1. Or, at least, so it seemed from a lot of your posts. I’m yanking your chain here because we’ve had this discussion before. You complain and I try to point out progress is being made. Now you are recognizing that progress.

In my view, this is why he won.

This issue.

It’s certainly one of the issues he won but not the only one without which he may very well have lost. Lots of people say he won because of his position and rhetoric on immigration, or on court appointments, or on draining the swamp. If you want to boil it down to only one reason Trump won: it’s the totality of Donald Trump.

He built a coalition of disaffected voters each of whom had his own set of reasons why he voted for him.

You’re right.

Immigration also. You’re right. And the Wall. Very much, the Wall. And our pathetic, ever worsening national trade deficits... Particularly with China.

Those two issues, China trade and the Wall. Are why Trump is the US President right now.

Neither of which, incidentally, are really improving yet. Our trade situation with China, is currently getting WORSE. It was at an all-time record terrible situation just last year, worst in history, between any two countries. Ever.

And it’s going to set yet another terrible record, this year.

I’m not sure whether the election may have made things more difficult for the Wall. We will see.

But China trade, is a completely different story. I think it was a whole bunch of Democrats, who voted for Trump, who were responsible for everyone on the left’s surprise in 2016.

There are plenty of Democrats who are more on Trump’s side, on this issue, than they were ready to support Hillary.

I believe this is the one issue, both sides of the aisle can now agree on, and very firmly, get a (very) good new deal for America.

Of course I have been wrong before. But I really believe, Trump is serious about this issue. He is the first American president, who hasn’t been sold out to China. Since the early 1990’s. Although the earlier presidents, were not yet seeing the evidence that they were selling out, as much as those more recently should have seen.

Trump can see what is happening. We can all see what is happening. It is just that there are very powerful people, such as mentioned in this article, who are making a TON of money selling out America, to China.

I believe Trump will change that. I believe it was the single issue, he was elected on.

Myself.

The Wall is important. But our trade mess with China, is why.

I think.

Thanks for your responses. It was good chatting with you.
