I have good insurance. About 80 per cent of my friends and relatives in the Chico area are conservatives.

California hit it’s peak years under Reagan.

Then they elect Gov. Moonbeams and the rot set in.

Yeah, California is lost but it will spread it’s gangrene to the other healthy limbs as it declines the libs and illegals will just spread out, infecting healthy hosts with it’s spawn.
It’s collapse may signal the “Extinction Event” for the Untied States as it will set off the national debt domino.

You’re welcome to come to Tennessee. Also your conservative neighbors.

Don’t tell the liberals though. Just tell them we’re just a bunch of inbred rednecks who love their guns as much as they love their sisters.

They’ll believe that and stay away! Haha

“because they never believe the money stream would ever slow down.”

CA is cyclical and the tax base is narrow, with state government deriving about 20% of its revenue from capital gains. The income tax doesn’t really kick in until you’re well over $125k.

So they’ll have another fiscal crash.

And then go back to what they always do...lead the nation in economic growth, income and per capita income, and home ownership and GDP.

It’s sad that such amazing resources are administered by the insane.

I remember it mentioned several times on the show that Granny was a native of Tennessee. A bit of searching verifies that, but also indicates that the show was vague about where the rest of them were from.

I've come to the conclusion the problem with California is that they have had it too easy there. Consider:

The weather, compared to the extremes seen elsewhere in the Country, is generally pretty decent to downright beautiful year round.

Natural resources - the State is blessed with ready access to the sea via multiple ports for commercial fishing, oil, minerals, etc.

Farming, viable year round, creates excess food supply for export.

Tourism, for the beautiful weather, great natural wonders and vistas. It happens to be a decent jumping off point for airline trips to the west, cruises...

Industry - including the TV and film industry as well as silicon valley, shipping from Asia, military bases...

So Californians are blessed with all these gifts and things just come easy to them. So they think everyone everywhere has things that good. They develop a rather cavalier attitude about things "So what's a little XYZ in the grand scheme of things?" Not realizing that elsewhere that little bit of extra cost, or reduced performance, or more regulation, or more government etc. is often the difference between make or break, or thriving vs just surviving. Yet Californians see themselves as "leaders" for the Nation, believing everyone should follow their example. Heck, even some States like Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, etc. try to out California California.

That's their main problem: they've had it too good for too long and now the consequences of their ill-conceived and unsustainable policies are coming home to roost.

If their ports ever silt up and became unusable(a possibility) or the Big One hits(another possibility)then California will collapse.

But for now, the libs will continue to live off the sickening host.

I’ve been living in SoCal since 1966 and had a front row seat to watch it change.

California has been overwhelmed with immigration, more legal than illegal. That dynamic will change even the most stable culture, something that California probably lacked in the first place.

Many of my friends have moved to other states over the years. Their choice, not because they had to. The newcomers from other countries bring their own cultures with them. Most are pleasant enough, but simply planting their feet here doesn’t mean that they share our values, despite what the airheads composing the GOP establishment will tell you. The Democrats know better, and they openly run on an anti-white America program.

SoCal is badly overcrowded. It has little shared culture, and sometimes little shared language. It’s expensive. The newcomers vote left, even the newcomers who earn very good livings.

As long as the border spigot is wide open, California will keep exporting people to other states. And you may not want what they bring with them.

"Communism collapses the society when it's spent all the society's wealth"

Too bad people have to learn this the hard way.

When the shooting starts, it will start with the Latino gangster takeover of the state house in Sacramento, followed by the immediate and/or attempted egress of most of the so-called entertainment industry well-to-dos (after their initial ass-kissing kiss-blowing to the criminals), followed by massive igress of drug cartel gangsters. All those mostly white kumbaya pot growers in the hinterlands will just be vanished from the planet.

“When the shooting starts, it will start with the Latino gangster takeover of the state house in Sacramento”

I doubt that shooting is needed for that to happen:

You forgot to mention the unlocking of the prisons by the gangs. After what I’ve heard from a prison guard, I am worried about that.

“You forgot to mention the unlocking of the prisons by the gangs”

The gangs didn’t do that- California voters did, by stupidly passing Prop 47 and Prop 57.

Why lock up criminals when you can set them free to live next door to you...
