Hey Rush here is what is going on with the california fires.
The govt. was given a billion dollars from taxing gasoline to clear the brush from under thousands of trees, they allocated 30 million and the rest went to high speed rail.

https://www.mantecabulletin.com/opinion/local-columns/high-speed-rail-takes-funds-wildfire-reduction/
here is a clip from the link

Great piece thanks very much, here’s a clip from the link:

You may be thrilled to know as you’ve been inhaling greenhouse gases aka smoke from wildfires, hidden taxes collapsed into the price you pay at the pump for gas is helping keep 124,000 acres of forestland in northern Maine healthy.

Meanwhile the cap and trade czars in Sacramento earmarked only $30 million of the more than $1 billion collected annually on reducing fuel — dead and dying trees — in forests to prevent wildfires in California. That is despite scientific research that underscores one major wildfire is capable of wiping out all the net gains in greenhouse gas reductions the cap and trade program can muster in one year.

This has happened because the green lobby led by self-serving interests such as Elon Musk and advocates for a host of environmental pet projects have effectively politicized the California Global Warming Solutions and the $1 billion or so a year in cap and trade revenue the state receives from companies such as oil firms that collapse what is essentially a tax into the price of goods consumers pay.

Climate change is natural. The debate regarding greenhouse gases is how much man is moving the dial. If man is indeed moving the dial significantly then one would assume we need to make sure the return for cap and trade investment is as effective as possible in terms of impact on mean annual temperatures and air quality.
............................
Here’s more from the same link:
IT explains what is going on in California and how they have diverted funds and how these clowns are anything but environmentalists but rather rapists of the forest
..........................

The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in 2016 published research based on NASA imagery that determined 888 million big trees in California had a severe decline in moisture content due to the prolonged drought.

Moisture deficient trees coupled with dead trees and overgrown dried out brush is why wildfires are so big this year. That in turn has given Central Valley residents for the last 16 days and counting a surge in greenhouse gas emissions in the form of wildfire smoke.

Yet we are spending only $30 million a year out of $1 billion available to try and clear California’s stressed forests of fuel to feed raging wildfires.

Part of it is for the high speed drain on resources — the bullet train with a cost now that is closing in in $100 billion before it can go somewhere instead of to nowhere. High speed rail has netted $958 million so far from cap and trade revenue. It is by far the largest cut of the pie. Out of every $1 spent from cap and trade to combat greenhouse gas, high speed rail gets 25 percent.

A number of proponents of aggressive policies to combat climate change like to argue those who disagree with them ignore the science and could simply find the facts by a 30-second Google search. The problem is they tend to be selective in what facts they Google from scientific journals.

If the situation is as dire as they believe, then we need to make sure how we spend what funds we have to combat climate change as effectively as possible.

Here’s a goodie, seems when a fire spreads to a nat. park they just let it burn and when foreign countries create planes that carry 5X the payload of water to be released on the fires they are blackballed by the US.Unreal what goes on.!!
this one is old but it still applies
............................
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071023175446AA3wbMZ
Just saw an interesting report on that, seems the first day of the fire a new DC-10 firebomber made and appearance and according the firemen could have stopped the fire from spreading, but the next day and since that initial appearance it was not seen again...why?
Because the plane had been hired by the state of California but that the fire jumped onto National Park Land where it had not been safety approved therefore the grounding!
Better yet, in 1999 the Forest Service had a demonstration of the Russian firebomber (Il76)that could carry five times the payload of the biggest US firebomber, and even one that could reload on the fly (BE-200), the department was extatic, finally a plane to do the job, the report was glowing but for some reason the report that came back was dramatically negative....sound familiar?
Seems the US government was afraid of competition of some sort so they blackballed the planes to this day.
Some countries like Italy and most recently Greece didn’t buy into the US report and hired the Russian planes which performed superbly....so who can be blamed for the California Enferno...look no further than Bush and the Boys....the US government.

Generally unable to listen to Rush, but just caught this re voting scams currently in play and folks who are working against our country's agenda:

...troubling times ahead...not sure our people are aware of what they face... or words to that effect.

I certainly hope this isn't the first time he has made such a clear declaration. If it is, I respectfully say, "Welcome to the party, Rush."

Who does he know an apologetic marxist and hippie? I don't know of any.

Unfortunately Rush will not address the massive voter fraud be done by millions of noncitizens ILLEGALLY voting in our elections! Rush correctly describes the rapidly changing demographics particularly in the Southwest yet will not discuss the obvious massive noncitizen voter fraud going on!

Interesting that Rush has finally gotten around to acknowledging that demographic change is what has transformed California from Reagan Country in the 1980s to Obama Land in the 2000’s. This after years of being silent on the issue, despite many attempts by prominent border patriots to get him to discuss it on his show.

But Rush is wrong to place the blame on illegal aliens, as big a problem as they are and have been for California, no thanks to GW Bush and his attempt to ram through another amnesty.

What has transformed California is Legal immigration. Legal immigrants vote. And they vote in large numbers. Illegals vote, but in small numbers; and of course their American born children get birthright citizenship and vote legally.

Legal immigrants from the 3rd world, including highly successful ones, bring the values of their home cultures with them and they vote to the Left of American natives. This isn’t a mystery. The GOP, aka The Stupid Party, knows this and yet they do nothing to change an immigration policy that since 1965 has guaranteed the very outcome that we see now. And what this means is that as the numbers of foreign born increase, the politics of the rest of the country will become just like California.

Isn’t there a “chain of command/possession” for ballot boxes?
“No controlling legal authority” is bullshit.

Are you apologetic?
I was a hippie during the 60s - in every way shape and form - but I’m not apologetic for it. I was “thinking” with my emotions. I grew up in the real business world, and have used my brain ever since.

After years of telling her to move from Marin Cty/Bay area, my Sister moved back to York in 2013, so I don’t have any family or friends left there, so I don’t care either.

No, it isn’t wrong since they don’t spend squat clearing out underbrush, and spend it on homeless, trannies, homos, junkies, wackos etc. Let it burn.
