One lesson (among many): Democrats can get away with extreme whacked-out candidates. Republicans can’t get away with lousy milk toast candidates.

I think we’re finally seeing the real fruits of open borders. The Southwest is almost completely lost.

No! Just bring elections designed before horse and buggy days into the world of tera byte computers.

IRS is doing a far better job of catching tax cheats than election officials. You know why? Because it is run by a central computer based system with harsh punishment for cheaters on the law books. How many election officials are in prison for cheating?

US elections are worse than most banana republics.

IIRC LBJ won when a box pf ballots showed up after the fact.

Mayor Daley was called late election night for a count since chicago was the only major place not reporting. nixon was ahead. Daley told the Kennedy guy, how many votes do you need. Nixon was famous for not challenging the election “for the good of the country” and the republicans have been victims ever since,.

what's AZ's excuse?

My understanding is that in AZ, 75% of the ballots are mail-in, and each signature has to be manually checked. That's a heck of a job, and itself possibly subject to the bias of the persons doing the checking, although I suppose spot checks on them by a panel of 1/2 Pub, 1/2 Dem supervisors would help keep things honest.

That said, my signature varies lot from check to check, document to document, etc. I suppose a real handwriting expert could sort such things out, but with (I would think) many thousands of ballots' signatures to be rechecked, that would take even more time.

Then you have this whole issue of "volunteers" going out and "helping" voters with their mail in ballots. I think that is likely a much bigger concern than actual ballot fabrication or modification: I'd guess that out of 2 million plus votes total, maybe several thousand could be "fake", but the disparity between the Governor's race and the Senate race in AZ is pretty hard to attribute solely to that sort of fraud. Not-so-secret mail-in ballots would seem to me to be the larger problem.

I don't know how this process can be tightened up. Ideas, anyone?

>How about the rnc (putting up a fight)?

BWAHAHAHAHaha *gasp* hahahhahaha

I haven’t heard BOO out of the RNC, not since before ‘16, and barely anything from D.C. ‘leadership’. And Scott, Bondi, SoS have been effeminate since the poll closing....Day, or two+, late for any action (meek as it might be)...sure enough $$ floated around though.

Had TWO years w/ complete control of D.C. to strengthen up the voting system (and what Leftist would complain, after all the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA talk?) and they did exactly as (I) expected: N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

18 years after 2k (Bush vs. Gore) and FL STILL has the same counties pulling the same B.S. (R) control in FL and still: N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

Hell, after Lakeland, Scott counldn’t even toss a corrupt sheriff (I suspect the DC/school board/police ‘agreement’ vs. “prison pipeline” is still intact)...

I think in Arizona a lot of people are pissed at Trump for how he treated McCain, and this was payback.

McCain got his revenge.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Then Arizona is an A3Shat State. Look at Texas’ Cruz, he got beat up pretty bad by Trump going in, but he sucked it up and was a team player. Trump came out for Cruz in this election, mending fences. McLaim? He never was a team player and took his grudges literally to the grave.

“I’m trying to remember a single instance in a state election where a Democrat won on election day, but after interminable post-election day vote counting (and re-counting), the winner was flipped from Democrat to Republican.”

This may just be right.

As one source stated Maricopa County has the Republican Governor win by 325,000 votes, but the Democrat senator wins Maricopa County by 32,000 votes.

So as a math problem here, that looks like a fraudulent ballot dump of about 350,000 Maricopa County ballots, into the vote count, by the Democrats.

Amazing that a radical leftist like Sinema could even come close to winning in Arizona, let alone win.

Californication and mexification will do that to you.

Demographics is destiny is truer than ever.

And yet those same demographics, all those CAs/MXs, voted overwhelmingly for a Repub for Governor? I find that rather difficult to believe...

Shouldn’t be McSally’s decision alone not to challenge this.

Others shoukd legally challenge this anyway.

Not this many people split ballots.

Also with splitmballot strategy the people who do it are usually teying to get a person of a different party on the federal and state level, not get people. of each of two different parties to the state level.

I don’t like divining intent of the voter.

This kind of a criss cross though is extremely irregular and is likely evidence of fraud.

The outgoing SOS is an elected R at the end of his 4 year term.

The election for the new one is still up in the air (naturally).

Not what I mean though.

What I mean is when people split vote they are usually trying to get a President from one party and Congress level representatives from the other party.

They don’t care about splitting Congress.
